Stormshade purred in amusement. "Okay, Let's go. Foxblaze, are you coming?" Stormshade asked. He scanned the camp and saw Shadowpaw. "You can come, too," he called to his apprentice. "I would like to see how your hunting skills are coming along!"

Rainpaw felt a bit nervous. She had a small crush on Stormshade's apprentice.

The grey elder padded towards the tunnel, entering the woods. "Any takers for the lead of this patrol?" She stifled a pur, her fluffy grey fur whisking in the wind. Lifting her grey nose, she sniffed the air.

Echofall spotted a rabbit. What's a rabbit doing all the way out here? He wondered. The tom crouched down and shot forward, killing the rabbit with lightning speed. he liked to think he was the fastest in the Clan.
