the sleek black mare let her white mane cover half of her face.

Eagle scowled. "Just some other stallion trying to get a mare."

Bear nodded. "That's good, right? But, see, here I am talking to this pretty mare and I don't even know your name?"

" raven," she neighed, lifting her tail. " i thought why didn't i get a invitation, so , i crashed your party, my bad " she laughed.

"I'm flower under the silver moon, but most just call me moon," she said relaxing a little and flicked the flies away from her flank.

Bear laughed at Raven's response. "Yeah. Hi, Raven." In his head he exploded--there was the stallion just trying to earn Raven's attention, and now he had 2 mares he was talking to. Bear prepared to flee or fight.

Eagle Talon flattened his ears and flared his nostrils, pawing the ground. That rickety stallion would pay!

Moon herd a mare and another stallion in the distance and she became a little uneasy. She started at bear and looked around her.

Bear Claw turned to Moon. "What's your name?" he asked her.

"I'm moon," she said again a little confused.

raven pawed the ground. " i do not think any stallion wants me though," raven sighed, then drank from the pond they were standing by.
" do you have a herd , bear ?" raven asked.
