Jokull
Age: 10 years
Status: Band stallion
With his mare
And his ally
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Jokull watched her, his hesitant muzzle a few inches away from her side. However, it seemed his worry was unfounded when she went ahead and slumped as she grazed, obviously relaxed. The silver stallion let out a long breath he'd been holding and allowed his head and neck to slid over onto Nakiah's rump again.
Jokull cocked a hind leg, taking this relaxed moment to simply listen to his new mare eat. He briefly wondered how and or what Gator was doing, but figured his brother-in-arms was taking care of himself just fine. Even so, after a bit of time with Nakiah, Jokull might try and seek him out. The stallion couldn't help but complete his check for heat scene on Nakiah though, though he did it casually and without any fuss before he returned to resting near her.

Mariah's Savior
Age: 12 years
Status: Pregnant
Lead mare
Chatting, worrying
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Mariah smiled and looked over the colt a bit more throughly.
"It's always a good thing when babies are born healthy," she commented then continued to listen to Ciqala's concerns.
"A name, huh? Well, I could give you my opinion if you like. And to be honest, I wouldn't worry too much over Akuma's approval, he didn't carry the colt to term." The lead mare commented, snorting a slight chuckle. Stallions loved having foals, but they generally didn't do too much work when it came to producing and rearing them. So to Mariah, they shouldn't get to veto things like the foal's name.
This of course brought her mind to her own baby, and her worry was washed away by excited wonder for a moment. She'd yet to come up with name options, so maybe it was a good thing her foal was late.

Cain's Rumored Fable
Age: 4 years
Status: Band stallion(kinda)
Traveling with mare & filly
Eying up other mare
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Cain decided not to push it right now, even though she did have scent still. With a nicker to Angel and her filly, he asked them to get a move on. The young stallion followed after his mare and her baby, his blue eyes glancing around at their surroundings as they traveled. He was just concerned with talking them out of this area right now, and then maybe water or shelter? That was really up to the mare though, he was the protection.
Ooh, and speaking of mares, there was one. He had spotted Nic, a good-looking grey just trotting along. He debated what action to take, especially given that he one, had a mare and two, Nic wasn't exactly close. The paint stallion let out a low alluring whinny to her, hoping to catch her attention and her attention only. She would be a nice pick-me-up for him and after he picked up these two mares, he'd probably bundle away with them for protection, both from the elements and the other stallions.

Safara
Age: 3 years
Status: Covered
Band mare
Talking with her stally
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Sara rolled her eyes as he just fired the topics out at her.
"Easy there, hotshot." She warned him, starting to become a bit grumpy again. With a sigh pushed out through her nostrils, she decided.
"Fine." Safara shifted her weight, cocking her other leg and shaking out her mane. Still she had to complain a bit more,
"Ugh, what even is that supposed to mean?" She ranted before easing up.
"Ah well, I'll just take some liberty with it, eh?" After stating this, she was tempted to shake her head again. Why was she even still talking to Samurai, again?
"Herds are all right I suppose, they serve their purpose of survival. I don't like them though, unless it's just me and a friend or two. Too many pretentious strangers." Sara finished off her brief overview with a shrug, revealing her antisocial nature, which wasn't very common for horses.
"Foals. Mmm, I never really thought about what it would be like to have any. They're... interesting. Maybe not my cup of tea, but I've always been expected to bear them when I came of age. They seem to be an unavoidable truth to be honest, and as a result I've never really given them much thought." It was weird discussing this topic with him when she was to be carrying his foal. Safara shuddered, questioning why and how she'd let her hormones get the better of her. She hadn't wanted this, though she had omitted that truth from her spoken thoughts.
"Mares next then, huh? Well, I'm not sure. Other members of my gender are generally distasteful, but I find there are some I do get on well with. You stallions seem to like them just fine though." The brindle mare let out a small laugh at that, recalling his wording of 'other stallions'.
"And what, you don't want my opinion of you? 'Other stallions', heck, I haven't had a lot of experience with them but you all seem to be really attracted to this," the mare pause to gesture to her brindled coat.
"I've got to tell you though, I don't think I've ever met a stallion who wasn't a shallow, fairly self-absorbed, foal-wanting, hormone-driven creature. You all should step up your game," Sara mentioned as he bumped her muzzle against Samurai's shoulder with a resentful chuckle.
