I personally think you should go for it and ask him.
Tho this situation does seem very awkward, extremely awkward infact, but I think
you can pull it off. Just ask him it might be a good way for you guys to get to bond
I suppose.

My brother and I are both having relationship problems for the same reason. His fiancé is pregnant, but she said it may not be his because she cheated on him around the time she got pregnant. Then she dropped the bombshell that it was with MY boyfriend.

okay, you need to take it slow, don't just tell him all at once because 1) it'll look like youre desperate and 2) youll probably scare him. trust me, ive done the same before :') anyways, if you guys have the same interests, talk to him about it and get to know him more, ask him to hang out and everything. don't jump into it and try to force him into a relationship because no guy likes that. all I can say is that, talk to him about what you guys have in common, hang out and see what the future brings (:

okay, so there's this guy. what am i saying, there's always someone.
anyways, he's nice, funny and just absolutely adorable. it's wonderful. the catch? i can't
date for another three months. i know it's dumb, but i don't want to date till the middle
of my sophomore year mainly for the reason that i'll have a decent handle on school and
what not jazz. the problem is that he's super flirty with me and i'm the same way with him
and frankly it's hard for me not to just want to jump into a relationship with him. but at the
same time, there's the whole parent's issue. he's grown up homeschooled and my parent's are
rather protective of me when it comes to the opposite gender.it's just all so frustrating and
to be honest, i'm not even sure what kind of advice i'm asking for. i just feel better knowing
that at least someone else outside of this situation knows.

hello ladies and gents. my name is global.
pleased to meet you. let me tell you a bit about
myself. first off, i'm a girl and i live in the united
states. i enjoy reading, writing, watching anime
and also riding horses. i am nice, if i do say so
myself and like to chat. i'm a semi-lit writer that
just got back from a long break, so still rusty.
also i can't code for crap. see you around!

my best guy friend is so cute and i've liked him before. we always Skype and play games together and we're really open around each other but the problem is, he's madly in love with this girl. she thinks he's gross and basically hates him, but he doesn't care. the girl is really popular and has been liked by so many boys before that's it's just impossible for him. recently his cousin died in a car crash and she's been so rude and he's just been coming to me over anyone else. what should i do ;-;

Okay, so it sounds like you are saying you are allowed to date because that 3 months is your choice, correct? Honestly, is there any way you can bring it up to your parents? You say they are protective but it's entirely possible for parents to be protective while still allowing you to date. And I'm not sure why him being homeschooled would be an issue?? Sure you might need to coordinate a little more to see each other but it sounds like you already see him recently if you say you get on with him and have opportunities to flirt with each other. If you do talk to your parents, I think it would be a good idea to mention your '3 months' concern - it would show them that you want to make the right decision and are trying to stay sensible about this and that you don't want your schoolwork to be negatively impacted.
