.: "Oh wow, that's pretty neat," she exclaimed, noticing his excitement. She envied Orrick. Scratching her head in thought, she gave the question a thought before answering. "Well, for starters, I mostly take care of the higher priority cases, such as murders involving members of the government, higher powers, rich members as well as celebrities. Despite me having less cases to work on, it sucks having so much responsibility, haha." Shawn smiles. "Although what you said about clocks is true, I still think it takes a lot of talent to dig up bones and other relics. For example, you could break something or damage it, or waste time by digging in an area that you have already dug in if you haven't marked it correctly. I personally think every job requires a good amount of skill." The plumerian ran her fingers through her hair once more. :.

"I'm a workohalic, thats why I'm so good at it. Though I'll never understand how a man who uncovered a whole village could be impressed with a few moving gears" Isaac joked back, and though he didn't smile there was a hit of amusement lingering in his eyes.

Aisopos continued popping in an out of rooms, but was still unable to find any sign of the pews he was looking for. Anxious to be seated, he looked around until he found someone who might be of help to him. He walked towards a woman who was making her way towards the drinks, giving a polite smile and a casual wave as he grew closer," Excuse me miss" he called to get her attention, hoping she'd take notice of him.

Sunni looked a bit annoyed at his response, obviously disappointed that she hadn't gotten as much of a rise out of him as she'd hoped for," Well you'd better not mess this up" Sunni said, crossing her arms across her chest," As much as I dislike you, I love Kade enough to where I'm giving you a fair warning. Mom will accept you automatically because you are attractive, but dad... you need to be carful of. I can't tell you why of course, but just try to show your best side to him. He's got a lot of influence around these parts, and he's already not happy with the fact that you're a murder" she took two steps towards him, holding out a small velvet black box," Ah, and don't you dare lose this. Be ready to start in 10 minutes, I'm going to go make the announcement not." There was a sudden gleam in her eyes, something that was almost a warming without much bite to it," And don't you dare get cold feet. I won't have some old man breaking my brothers heart."

Although his initial reaction was to take a small step back, afraid that she'd attempt to harm him in some way, Monty took the box from her and carefully slid it in his left pocket.
"It's a little late to get cold feet, is it not? You don't need to worry about it. I wouldn't walk out on him like that. I'm not cruel," He bites the back of his tongue, trying to find some way to calm his nerves. He sits back down on the chair he was previously siting in, letting out a small sigh, "Anything else I should know?"

"I've seen weddings where things have gone pretty bad, It's never to late to jump out until after the 'I Do's' are said. Ah, but if you tried to do something like that, I don't think you'd get much farther in life" she made it sound like a threat, but didn't voter to elaborate on what she meant by that," Mmmmm ah, I suppose you should know your new parents name's if you hadn't gotten them memorizes. Mother's name is Diamond, but she'll take Dian to if it's easier to remember. Father is Fredrick, but don't call him Fred, he'll get ticked. Mom will be expecting you to refer to her as 'mom' or 'mother', don't call her Mrs. Lance or she'll complain that she isn't that old. Don't call dad father yes, he'll want to be referred to as Mr. Lance most likely. Also, if you see men in black suits with sunglasses and guns don't panic. I made sure no police are here, seeing as that could lead to awful things on your wedding day, but those are the family special privet security team. Ex-Marines and stuff, men who know what they're doing. I told dad to bring them along just in case, I don't know what kind of people are after you Monty but I won't let them harm a single hair on my brothers head. Or you for that matter, seeing as in about an hour you'll be family as well more or less, and I don't see Kade finding the will to live on if something were to happen to you."

.: Shawn laughed. "Haha, well i'd say they're equally impressive. Picking apart bodies isn't so impressive, at least from my point of view. It's not like a doctor or surgeon where they would have to be precise or else they're screwed." Bending down slightly, she opened a small leather bag that was attached around her right leg. Inside, she pulled out a small necklace, with a beautiful aquamarine pendant in the shape of a teardrop. "By any chance, have you guys seen Sunni? I'm planning on giving this to her after the ceremony, but I'm hoping that she's here already." :.

"I dunno, it's just so.. I dunno.. Well, I'll never understand how someone can manage to make a clock tick. Even with an instruction manul I wouldn't be able to," he shrugged his shoulders a little as he spoke, unsure really what else to say. He just thought that Isaac's job was the coolest, and he certainly wished that he could make a clock, or even just fix a clock. Orrick thought about what Shawn had said before mulling it over in his mind for a few moments and responding, "Well, it might be a lot of responsibility, but it seems like it would be worth it. You'd get pretty interesting cases, or so it seems, and you could get on the good sides of important people and their families. Oh, and I think Sunni is with her brother, or something like that. She's in charge of the wedding, after all." The tall plumerian pulled out an ancient pocketwatch from his dress pants and opened it, looking at the time. "I think the wedding should be starting any time now, maybe we should go sit down? I dunno, though?" he looked at Isaac for an answer, as Isaac was the family relation, and somehow that meant he had to know.


( so I just thought I'd let you know, Kyo, that I almost typed "Well, I'll never understand how a clock man captured my heart," before I thought about who he was talking to OTL. I just thought that was amusing bc idk it just was in my opinion? c'x )

.: "Agreed. Well, everyone has their specialties, and i think it's just wonderful how everyone can do so many different things so wonderfully," she sighed happily. "Yes, that is quite true indeed. It's very calming when I help out in an important case, that makes a difference in others' lives." She nodded at Orrick's suggestion. "Well, time or not, we should probably begin to head over in that direction. I'll see if Sunni is there, as well." She turned to Issac, "what do you think?" :.

Isaac held up his hands as if to surrender when Orrick and Shawn turned and looked at him expectantly, obviously showing he hadn't the slightest clue as to what was going on," All I know if that she's back there with Kade trying to make sure the guy doesn't get cold feet. She told me to 'stay put and entertain until I get back' before rushing away. But if you ask me, It; should be about time to start. It's already 5 till 6, so the ceremony should be held soon" he hadn't even needed to look at a clock to know the time, a habit that was almost creepy considering he was never off by more than a second," Nice necklace though."

"Well, that won't be me. After all, it's just a few vows and a kiss, nothing I should really be too worried about. I'm not about to walk out on him over something as simple as that. I'll just try not to avoid using any pronouns then. It shouldn't be too hard, but I'll keep it in mind. I may not be too fond of the idea of family but if it's for Kade, again I'll just suck it up. I doubt there is anyone that would go after me, even if there is, I think they would've found me by now. I'm not exactly in hiding or anything," He tries to casually shrug but just kind of twitches due to his nerves. He takes a deep breath, "Isn't it time?"

Orrick laughed a bit as Isaac recited the time perfectly. "That never gets not amusing, and I don't know why," he said, a grin still playing on his features. "Oh, but hey, I'm gonna need you to take a look at Ol' Rex when we get home because I think he's making a strange sound, like something was knocked loose inside," he dangled the ancient pocketwatch in front of Isaac, as if the other could diagnose the problem just by looking at it. His watch was prone to having parts knocked loose, so having a clock man for a roommate was a nice bonus. Ol' Rex, obviously named after a T-Rex, was a suiting name for the pocketwatch, as it was from the early 1800s and was rather large. "Alright, well, off we go then," Orrick put the pocketwatch back into his pants and began to take a few steps towards the seating area.
