Taking a deep breath in anticipation for her starting point she rose off the glass and stood up tall opening her eyes slowly as if in a trance and started to sing. Quiet at first as if unsure of herself that quickly passed as her confidence grew smiling with her eyes when she sang. The trance disappeared and she became just a girl enjoying herself with a friend glowing even after the song ended though her voice had faltered on the last notes and her throat now hurt she felt satisfied.

"That's all right," I say, massaging my leg. "So, where are we going?" Jenna had mentioned a meeting, but not what it was for. I wonder what kind of meeting it is, that she has to go at such a young age. I'm no expert, but I thought meetings were an activity reserved for adult humans.

Andrew heard Mercy take a breath and watched her curiously. He heard her quiet voice begin to sing and smiled as he encouraged her to sing more. He smiled as he played the guitar with more enthusiasm and laughed quietly to himself as he smiled. He closed his eyes as he smiled, whilst playing his guitar and listening to Mercy sing beautifully. Andy heard the song come to an end as he looked at her when heard her voice falter a little at the last notes. He frowned and watched her closely before he strummed the final note and smiled a little. He saw the pain she felt in her throat now and frowned concerned.

Glancing over at him she understood the silent communication and shook her head in response smiling before she walked over to the open kitchen getting a glass of water. It was nothing really she had wanted to sing and sung louder than usual so she had expected that outcome. 'Your turn' she wrote still smiling as she sat down on the ground and took a sip of the water offering him some afterwards.

Andrew sighed as he saw her shake her head in response and looked down after seeing her smile. He couldnt help but feel weak and powerless to help Mercy and make her happy and be able to speak. He heard her footsteps walk off to the kitchen and he stayed where he was. Andy rubbed his head and breathed out a loud sigh. he heard her come back with a glass of water and saw what she wrote and smiled the slightest bit. he readjusted the guitar on his lap and sighed as he looked at as she sat down on the ground. He cleared his throat before seeing her offer him some water and nodded before taking a sip form a glass. Andy breathed out and began to play 'Your Guardian Angel' on his guitar and sang the lyrics. He didnt feel completely confident but he tired his best.

Whether he felt confidant or not Mercy smiled while he sang swaying back and forth happily in time with the music. She hadn't been treated to this song since she was little but she still remembered every word of it, humming along with the melody. Content her eyes were once more closed remembering sweet memories from her childhood and blocking out all the bad ones knowing that right now they were making another happy memory.

Andrew saw Mercy smile as he sang and he felt his confidence grow a little as he sang more. Soon he drew the song to a close and stopped before he finished playing the guitar and coughed a bit. He took another sip of water and sighed as it soothed his own throat. Andy placed the guitar down and stood befor ehe stretched his arms and legs after having to sit still for a fair bit. He sat back down and smiled at Mercy. "What did you think?" he asked with a soft chuckle and ran a hand through his shaggy dark brown hair which he messed up even more.

{ reminds me of the songs, last masquerade by linkin park and angel with a shotgun by the cab. both really good songs and i love them well i do anyway }

(I just listened to the Final Masquerade and fell in love with it myself >.< Angel with a Shotgun is something all my friends enjoy(one of them played the nightcore version recently and everyone sang along with it it was awesome ^^))

Mercy's swaying slowed to a stop, her eyes opened to watch him. A smile grew on her face when he asked her what she thought and she clapped as an answer. Was he a bit embarrassed? Unsure? Why? Mercy didn't ask knowing he wouldn't answer but made sure he knew that she appreciated his effort and loved every moment of it. She didn't need to know the reason to do that.

She turned around, her face showed her anger and a bit of hurt. "I was just trying to be nice! I didn't want anything to happen to you especially after what had just happened!" she paused for a second to breath, "You know I'm trying my best..." she sighed and turned around, she didn't want to look at him anymore, she was just plain tired of him and his attitude. Her wing feathers looked ruffled up now.

"It's not really a meeting, it's more of a gathering, it's to help people get over the loss of someone close." she sighed, and then included, "I wasn't going to go but people kept telling me that I should go so, I listened." She didn't want to go to the gathering, just thinking about it made her insides churn, she didn't want to talk about her sister or anything about her to anyone.

Jayden sighed and put a hand on his head. "I'm sorry, I just... wanted to be alone. I'm not in the mood for anything right now." he mumbled. He frowned even more when she turned away from him, but just turned around and started to walk.
