Simiko watched the others leave, she'll stay here forever. She watched the wall of the cave. Simiko shook her head before closing her eyes slightly to go to sleep.

Jett stayed outside watching the snow fall, it wasn't to cold for him. He just watched the snow fall down.

Fleck never moved, refusing to go over to the others. Trying her best to maintain her body heat, she curled in a tight ball in the corner. Ears pinned against her head, she moved her head on her paws on a comfortable position to sleep on.

I would've gone over with Rome, Shasta and Tron but I didn't want to leave Fleck by herself. Rome wouldn't want to leave her either, but since Shasta already invited him over he went over there. Unfortunately we can't be in two places at once, or else him and I would be. I wag my tail as I approach Fleck. She doesn't seem to notice me at first but I lay down next to her anyway.

Fleck didn't reply to Tess, except for a small whine. She curled tighter to herself, wondering what the heck had happened in the past seven hours. First, David woke them up and they ate. Then, they were put in the harnesses and began to race the other mushers. Two hours ago David was alive, which confused Fleck.

Knowing some were still awake and restless because of the events of that day made it hard for Tron to settle. He lifted his head slightly to look around at the gatheree dogs. At the sound of a bang his head snapped towards the mouth of the cave. It seemed Simiko had noticed it as well. His muscles tensed and he became instantly alert, trouble could follow that noise. He shifted carefully not wanting to disturb those who had joined him and Shasta too much with his movement.

She fell into a deep sleep cozily next to Tron and Rome, she was curled up right next to both of them, enjoying the comfort they gave. She all of a sudden heard a loud bang, she popped her head up and gasped, being terribly frightened by the random noise. Her fur spiked up along the top of her back from neck to rump and her eyes looked distressed as ever. She turned her head both ways and looked at Tron and Rome while shaking in fear. "What was that?" She said with a slight scared growl. She licked both of them on the cheek. "Are you okay guys?" she Whimpered. Being brave she stood up and hesitantly walked towards the sound's location, expecting the worst to happen.
