Fox+Phoenix=Foenyx, got it? (Fee-nix, a.k.a phoenix, but spelled differently) As the name suggestes, foenyxes are mostly a mix of fox and phoenix, but they are also part deer, as well as a few other animals. As you can see, they have the tail and wings of a phoenix, the body of a fox, the horns of a deer, and a few other features, such as the long, stiff fur on the back of their neck, legs, and the tip of their tail. Foenyxes have been found with horns, wings, a combination of both, neither wings nor horns, or occassionally, a diferent mutation, though those are very rare.
How can I get one?
That is a very good question. First, you must read this whole entire post. Yes, I know, it's a lot of work, but it's worth it, right? Ok. Now, back to the question of how you get one.
Foenyxes are very rare, and only found in a rain forest on a small island in the Pacific Ocean. A few live in packs, like wolves, but most spend much of their adult lives alone, only coming together to mate and raise their young, and when the annual wet season comes and the south side of the island is flooded. During the dry season, a few brave scientists venture down to the island to study the Foenyxes and bring back a few for both research and to sell to the public. The Foenyxes brought up can either be for sale or free for adoption. The ones for sale will be sold to whoever fills out a certain form and offers to pay me, the current owner, in wishlist pets. The ones for adoption will require you to do something extra to win the pet, such as write a story about it, draw something, or even something as simple as guess the answer to a question. These types of sales will not be first come, first serve, and they will require you to think.
Okay, I read the paragraph above, now what do I do?
Answer: read this! It is to trick all the impatient people who just want to skip the boring reading and get their shiny new Feonyx! To get a Foenyx that is for sale, please answer the following questions and post them on the topic of said Foenyx: What will be your new Foenyx's name? What is it's gender? Where will you keep your new Foenyx? Will it have any playmates, and if not, how come? Do you promise to take good care of your Foenyx, and if you don't want it, will you give it back to me? Now, the tricky one. This is to see if you really really really read this post. Where are the Foenyxes from? If you can't anwer this question, go back and re-read the first paragraph.
If you just read that, but still do not see where to adopt a free Foenyx, don't worry! If a Foenyx is free, you have to answer both these questions and the one on said Foenyx's post. Now, here we go! What will be your new Foenyx's name? What is it's gender? Where will you keep your new Foenyx? Will it have any playmates, and if not, how come? Do you promise to take good care of your Foenyx, and if you don't want it, will you give it back to me? Okay, now, step two! Go read the question or task on the post of the Foenyx you want, and answer that as well as all these on that topic, not here. Of course, if you just want to give this topic a bump, that's fine by me
