Paisley Larner - 17 – Single - Open
Paisley, completely oblivious to the fact that somebody was watching her, continued in Round 2 of the game. Again, she beat Scorpion in less than a minute. She had been playing Mortal Kombat since she was little, and knew all of the combos and special moves. Winning was easy for her. "Come on," she whined. "I need actual competition," Paisley sighed as Round 3 started up with "Ready? Fight!"

William {Teacher's Pet}

He looked down at the girl that was really enthusiastic about the game she was playing. In between a game, he tried to approach her, clearing his throat and brushing some hair up off his forehead. "Mm.. Why are you so enthusiastic about this game?" He didn't want to sound stalkerish, and he assumed she knew that her actions would lead to a bit of staring and attention... Rightt?

I barely headed her advice and muttered "Bye" before it become silent. This is so fun. I continued down the hallway into until I reached the janitors closet. I exited the closet and headed for the locker room. I opened my locker, grabbed my debit card, closed the locker and headed back. I got back to the janitors closet, and headed back through the hallway. I almost to the door out, when my phone died. Well this stinks. It went pitch black and I put my hands on the walls until I reached the end. I inspected the door with my hands until I found the handle. I opened the door, and light poured into the hallway. I looked away, shielding my eyes until they readjusted. I headed back to the front of the school and saw Nessa sit against a tree reading. I walked over and said "Got it!"

I look up and smile. "Great. And um.. Don't tell anyone else about the door. Someone might spill to a teacher and they'll lock it up. I kind of need the door." I say nervously, looking at my book. I didn't explained why I needed it, just looked back down at my book. I then just thought I should say some random explanation so I looked back up. "I'm quite forgetful as well." I lie.

Paisley jumped as she heard somebody behind her. She turned around to see a boy. "Oh, uh," she mumbled, glancing at the screen. The round had already started, but Scorpion was still crouched in the corner. She looked at the boy again. "I don't know. I just like it, I guess," She shrugged, turning back to the screen and using a combo move that sent her opponent flying backward. A cheesy yell escaped the character as he fell to the ground, followed by the narrator of the game. "K.O! You win!" Paisley smiled to herself, listening as the theme music played. "Here, try it," she said, handing the boy a few tokens.

Sterling sighed, heading to the arcade he usually did when he had finished with school. He opened the door and stepped in, pushing his Beanie back into place and looking for a empty game or something to sit at and listen to his music at.

William {Teacher's Pet}

He smiled, though he didn't know how to play. He took the tokens generously and inserted one. The game started and his fingers where suddenly stumbling over the control buttons, fumbling around until he lost the game, still in a search for the certain buttons. "I...I'm sorry..that was a waste" he said to her, eyes lowered. "I mean, I am not good at games..." That sounded stupid. Wait, your not stupid... He stumbled over his words as he looked all the way up at the girl. Her hair was blond, dark eyes that seemed like endless pools. She had some tattoos and...her eyes...he shook it off, brushing his hair off his forehead again, back. His brother had always said he looked better with it scruffy, but he disagreed. He thought it would make him look like some sort of wannabe-thug. He didn't want anyone to see him like that, so he combed it back with his fingers every-so-often.

I laugh and say "Yeah I'm the last person to tell a teacher anything." She look nervous. Wonder what that's about? "Hey you need a ride home?" I ask.

Paisley stood behind him as he played, frowning. He sucks at this, she realized, suppressing her laughter. When the game was over and he had lost, she let out a sigh. "It's okay, I-" She stopped, realizing that the boy was looking, no, staring at her. Confused, she glanced over her shoulder, but no; he wasn't looking past the girl. He was staring deep into her dark blue eyes. Just as she was about to say something, he broke his gaze, fiddling with his hair instead. Paisley watched, feeling her cheeks suddenly go hot. Don't blush! She crossed her arms, trying to look confident. "You don't suck, you just need practice. I was the same way."
