Rhett found her nerves acting up again and she took a deep breath, stroking her horse's neck as they waited. Neither Rhett or Tilly had participated in a dressage show before, but they had been training for it.
Their costumes were simple but Rhett found them appropriate and she had once wanted to become a police officer, and Tilly, her beloved Tennessee Walker could be a very tricky horse. She had multiple times succeeded in escape and stealing a bag of apples or carrots to run off with.
All too suddenly it was their turn, so with a second of hesitation Rhett got a leg up and they entered the ring.
