BES HARPG: Happy Halloween Three Day Eventing

Objective
Draw your horse and rider competing in an 3-day eventing competition. All events will be Halloween themed! The first day is dressage, second day is stadium/show jumping, and day three is cross country. You can have 3 separate drawings for each event, or combine them all as one drawing. Creative freedom as far as that goes!



Details
The event will be held on Bayside Equestrian Stables showgrounds as well as on the beach a few miles from the the stable grounds(for cross country). The dressage arena is an outdoor sand arena and the show jumping stadium is outdoor with grass turf. The cross county course will be along the beach. Maps and visuals will be included soon.
Halloween Theme Detail:
»Costume Dressage: Horses and riders must be wearing couple's costumes(costumes that mach) *costumes for dressage only, hoses do not have to be in costume for jumping and xc as it could be dangerous. The Dressage arena rails will be decorated with black and orange Halloween decorations. Lower-level dressage moves only.

»Show Jumping: fences will be Halloween-themed! you must design your own fence/fences. Your design will be judged for creativity points! Fences will not exceed 3 ft. at the highest. Riders must wear breeches, boots, and helmets but may otherwise wear Halloween decor!

»Cross County: Jumps will also all be Halloween themed/decorated and scarecrows and pumpkins will mark the course. Riders must wear breeches, boots, and helmets but may otherwise wear Halloween decor!


Rules
-Horses used for this competition MUST be HARPG or SIM horses OR adopted from a Adoption center on CS!
-one horse per competitor
-No tracing
-Must include backgrounds
-Horses must be at least 3+ years of age

Judging
This competition will be mostly judged by creativity. The judging system will look like this:
Color: 1-3 points
Shading: 1-3
Background: 1-3
Overall visual appeal: 1-3
Creativity/originality: 1-20

1 point just for having it included. 2 points if you have it and it looks nice/you've put extra effort into it. 3 points if it looks nice and is "correct". Creativity is judged separately from this system since there is more points to gain.

#1 Dressage: Almost complete Complete!
I struggled with this one a bit. I tried to make it look like they were turning but I kind of messed up on it. Tilly's face was a challenge as I haven't draw a horse's face straight on much before but I think it looks half decent.

#2 Show Jumping: rough sketch completed

I see now that the two entries are very similar in the positions used for both horse and rider. The third entry i'll try something a little more unique.

#3 Cross Country: no progress Complete!


I tried something different and this is how it turned out. It's a mix of a couple different styles, supposed to be semi-realistic with a fun twist.

Same costume, show jumping ring. There are pumpkins in the grass, a web and a spider on the jump, pumpkins sitting atop, and the poles are orange/white and green/white
Cross country: (a Werewolf and a half transformed Wolf)
