I have good news and bad news.
The good news! My catfish is almost completely rid of ich! And my two biggest female tiger barbs are still alive!
The bad news: He's got so many open wounds from scratching (they'll heal up, but ow that's got to hurt especially w/ all the chemicals in the tank right now), and the panda barbs aren't quite rid of it yet, so I have to keep treating until they're done or else the catfish will get it bad again. And the two female barbs' eyes are still all icky, so if they do recover, they'll probably be blind.
Eh. They'll live and learn, I suppose. (Unless they die I mean)

Holy smoke. I gave my ottos quite large piece of zucchini(prob 2cm thick and at least 5cm diameter I'd say) like two days a go. Now there's only the peel left, like couple millimeters thick and even that has been nibbled. O___O Ummm... Hungry fishes?
Though I think some of it just kinda 'melted' off and got sucked in the filters... But we'll see, today is a cleaning day anyway.
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...

Haha, I give my african cichlids some baby spinach and they love it. I give it to them before water changes mostly because they rip into it like tissue paper and there will be confetti spinach all over sometimes.

I give my barbs little chunks of beef, pork, or shrimp sometimes. :s
They usually eat every last bit of it.
Also: My African featherfin catfish is 100% free of parasites now. Yay! But I'm still treating the tank for another week or so. Until I'm certain the ich is gone.
Lost a mystery snail, the shy one, that is. Don't quite know what happened. Might be getting another when I go back for more tiger barbs, I haven't decided yet. I'll be sure to pick one that's actually moving, and in a busy tank this time, if I do.
I think this is the last of the losses for right now. I have two female tiger barbs who are still sick, but they've been hanging on for like a week and a half, so they might make it, I'm not sure. Fingers crossed they live.
