That would probably be better in the competitions area or in free pets. If it's a competition and only the best name gets the prize, then put it in art competitions. If everyone gets something for offering name suggestions, put it in free pets

I do edits for fandoms, like with backgrounds and pictures of characters, can I post them? I include quotes with them. If needed, I could send an example.

Since this board is for writing such as stories and poetry, this would not be the place for them. They'd be more likely to belong in art galleries and discussion, but even then I'd be iffy about saying it's okay since it would likely be seen as simply a storage post rather than an art gallery

Yes, that is fine, though if they are all short stories(can fit in one post on a thread), it would be better to keep them together in one thread as a collaboration of stories.

Does it have to be a thread? What I mean by that is can we just post a story and each post is like a chapter or something? Sorry that it's a stupid question. I was just thinking I could write something.

Do you mean you make a post and then a new one for every chapter, or do you mean you make a post and then add a new post to that same one, as a new post? Because the second is called a thread since its a string of posts that are all related to each other, hence the chapters all being connected. That is preferred so the board isn't spammed with a ton of separate threads all made for one story, especially since a moderator would likely come and merge the threads together anyway
