"You two are late." He mumbled anxiously, his tail-tip twitching. Foxpaw sank.

Sandoaw bowed her head, "Sorry, we were... uh... we got caught up with some rogues by the stream." She lied.

Foxpaw nodded quickly. "We taught them not to come around SoulClan, though." He said proudly, puffing out his chest. Smokystar huffed, leaping onto a low branch of his tree. "All cats old enough to climb the mountain ledges, please gather for a clan meeting." He called out.

[MoshiMoshi~]

Sandpaw sat with her fluffy chest puffed out, and her chin raised elegantly.

Cats began to gather around the tree, murmuring in curiosity; Except for Daisytail and Redheart. Those were the cat's mentors. Foxpaw waited silently as he listened to the whispers of the wind rustling against the trees. I'll finally become a warrior. He thought with pride. What will my warrior name be? He asked himself, shaking in wonder. He suddenly stiffened himself up, shaking out his ginger and white pelt, the pale sunlight making him gleam golden. His pale eyes turned bright as he watched his clan gather in front of him.

[MoshiMoshi~]

Sandpaw quickly glanced at him, smiling, 'He seems so confident. I know he'll be a great warrior.'

Is this what it feels like to be leader? He asked himself, glancing up at Smokystar. Except, I'll be up there. With my mate. He looked over at Sandpaw, smiling at her when he realized she was watching him. My mate. He purred in his thoughts, but his mind was broken by Smokystar leaping down from the branch and addressing Foxpaw and Sandpaw.

[MoshiMoshi~]

Sandpaw turned her attention back to Smokystar, waiting patiently to be addressed.

The large black and white tom towered over the two cats, his pelt looking as if it was part of the sky. His eyes flashed as he spoke the ancient words of the clans. "I, Smokystar, leader of SoulClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look over these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them as a warrior in their turn." He ended abruptly, craning his head back to look at his fellow clanmates. He then rested his gaze back upon the two cats. "Foxpaw, Sandpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect your clan-" He gave a toothy grin to the two cats. "Even at the cost, of your life?"

Sandpaw nodded vigorously, "I do!" She mewed unprofessionaly.
