A Treeter is a small reptile like creature that can grow to be the size of an average sized cat. Treeters have short peach like fur that covers their whole body, with the only acceptation being their necks and back legs, which has longer silky fur. One of the neatest things about Treeters is their ability to retract their spikes into pore like holes located on each side of their back. A Treeter will show his or her spikes when they are afraid or shocked, but they also have the ability to show them just by will although they often don't as they can be... uncomfortable. During mating seasons, the male's spikes will change color and glow, and they use this to attract females. They do so by dancing and moving their backs up and down in wave like motions around the female. A Teeter's feet are just like a geckos, having many little wall like structures on the bottom of each foot that act as suction cups to allow the Treeter to climb up smooth surfaces. Teeters eat bugs, soft fruits, as well as small rodents such as mice and rats. They have long heart shaped tongues which allow them to lap at hard to reach fruit and water with ease. Just like geckos, Treeters have the ability to drop their tails, which in time will grow back.
