Her heart fluttered like a butterfly, 'Is he talking about me? Is he saying I'm beautiful? I bet he is!'

"But of course, she has to be a great warrior as well." He said, nudging her, then walking forward.

She followed him, trying to bunch up her muscles to look stronger,'I'll make him proud to call me his mate.'

Foxpaw looked up to see the sun sitting on its top-sky perch, blinking his eyes as he looked back down. "Wanna go to a walk, actually? I could use it, and I might catch more prey for Iceflower- I saw Soulpaw walking into the medicine den with a stick before the patrol left, so Im just figuring."

Sandpaw nodded, following close behind him, her tail up.

"Alright, let's go." He purred, skirting the rock that stood high in the center of camp, and began trotting to the enormous tree that was the camp's entrance. He ducked under a stray root, padding out of the hollow under-part. The ginger-and white tom waited for Sandpaw patiently.

She followed, smiling at him as she passed by and stood outside the camp.

He leapt onto a mossy rock, his tail waving. "Where should we go? The mountain-hills or the stream?" He asked, looking down.

"The steam. Its been a while since I've been there." She responded, already heading towards the direction where the stream was located.
