I winced a little, my guilt swelling as Lavender suddenly leant forwards and huffed a little in pain. "A-are you..?" I stalked quietly. "I'm fine. Go away." She snapped suddenly. I raised my hands defensively and backed up a little. I did as instructed, but not before I alerted someone of the medical profession to help her. I wandered back inside after that, sitting in the corner of the room and hoping to not see Blair and that guy.

In her opinion Patrick was by far the more professional dancer. Kai was fun to dance with, but he was pretty clueless. Blair kept a smile on her face, Kai was doing his best to distract her, but her trail of thought would not waver. Blair stumbled a bit as Kai changed directions suddenly and tried to steer her to the other side of the room. Blair was confused, why was her brother half pulling, half dragging her away? Turning her head, Blair tried to try and see who, or what Kai was trying to get away from.

I saw them dancing and my eyes narrowed before locking onto the ceiling with my arms folded. I growled a little bit, this was killing me. Blair was my girlfriend. The scowl on my face grew larger.

"Kai!" Blair huffed, her brother was being a total pain in the ass. Blair was now trying to peer over her brother's broad shoudlers. Kai was cringing, while trying to spin Blair out of view of Patrick. Finally Blair wiggled out of her brother's grip and pushed him out of the way. Behind Kai was Patrick, sitting alone in the corner, his face all crinkled up. Nawwww thought Blair he's so cute with face all screwed up and his arms folded. Blair glared at Kai before walking over to Patrick "Finally I found you, I wondered where you got to!" she chirped happily, totally oblivious to the reason for his grumpiness.

"Were you?" I huffed back, without even opening my eyes I could tell it was Blair, so I stayed with my eyes focused on the ceiling. I was about to say something else when I heard a shrill child's cry from the other side of the room and through the crowd of people I saw Lavender holding something tiny in her arms. My eyes widened for just a moment and then I let my gaze drift guiltily to the floor.

"Yes I was" she scoffed, Blair was about to retort with an amazing comeback, then Patrick started to look very nervous, no guilty Blair told herself. Following Patrick's eye line, Blair spotted a woman holding a newborn, nothing to out of the ordinary. Blair sat down next to Patrick and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Why'd you run off?" She asked, Blair knew that he was upset, so decided to tread carefully.

I whipped my head towards her with annoyance in my eyes, "You just run to some other guy and expect me to be okay with it?!" I snapped suddenly, my eyes hardening angrily.

Somehow I'd managed to drink too much. I swayed around dizzily in front of Lysander, "I wanna find Channer... I wanna tell him how I feel and then- and then I wanna give him a kiss..." I laughed. "Woah, calm down Trish..." He stammered back. I was already stumbling off before he could really object. I looked around for him, his name forming on my lips. When I tried to call him I managed to say his name without any vowels, "Chnnr..!".

Blair's eyes flew wide, he thought Kai was..."No, no, no, no no" Blair stammered quickly. Gesturing towards Kai sage said"That man, he's my brother and I haven't seen him since 'that day'" Blair looked back to her brother, when you saw the two together, you really could see the similarities. The shared the same build, black hair and bright green eyes. Feeling a stab of guilt, Blair looked at her feet, "I'm really sorry for just running off like that, it probably gave you the wrong idea, but there is nothing going on between us, we're just family who haven't seen each other in a long time"

My eyes widened a bit at that, I honestly hadn't factored in that possibility. My movements were automatic as I pulled her into a right embrace. "I'm sorry, I-I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions." I stammered. The guilt about Lavender hit pretty hard then and I released her, wondering if the guilt showed on my face.
