Kestrelflame took him to the two legs neighborhood. She jumped off of him. “Okay boy, I'll see you soon.” She whispered. She then ran back into the forest. She brushed pass Flamewing and Flintfoot silently.

Flintfoot nodded. " It's like that dog is her only true friend. Think about it. I'm always with you and not her, and you're always talking to me. Who else is there for her? I'm a terrible mate. "

She blinked sympathetically. "Then you have to be there for her. Forget about me, I'm not the one who's important here."

Standing up, Flintfoot flicked his ears. " I'm going to go find her. " Flintfoot mewed before bounding off.

"Good." She nodded. Now alone, she glanced around for something to do.

Stoneclaw padded up to Flamewing. "Hey!" He nodded.

'Hey Stoneclaw. How are you doing?"

"I'm good. You?" He asked, tilting his head.

"I'm good."

Kestrelflame stared out into the forest, in the direction of Flames. “I miss you, Flames.” She murmured, closing her eyes.

Flintfoot quickly caught up to Kestrelflame, twining his tail with hers. " I'm sorry for being such a mouse-brain. " He apologized quietly, following her gaze into the woods. " It was good to let him go. " He said gently.
