Raquel felt a massive impact directly into her back and flew forward, accidentally releasing her hold on the boy, tumbling in a tight ball. When she finally regained her bearings a few seconds later, she spun around to see what had run into her; she saw the tiger shark, a horrified expression on his face, shame coloring his eyes. Raquel growled under her breath, then inhaled sharply in pain, just now seeing the rivulets of whispy-looking blood swirl around her, coming from her back. His teeth had cut jagged gashes into her back; she could feel them now. She let out pain-filled, angry cry and tapped upon her power for the first time. She swam forward, chasing after Siona and the boy, her once-blue eyes now glinting with a deep, wicked black.
She stopped at the last moment and threw her arms forward, her hands covered in quivering spheres of shadow. At the impact of her arms stopping, the shadows flew forward, forming cold, murderous fingers of their own that reached for Siona's throat, flexing and expanding with the water as they tried to wrap around her neck.

Siona growled, turning she started to swim deeper and further out. Still keeping a firm grip on the boy, those finger-things had almost been around her throat, she'd felt them touch her skin. They were still behind her, as she swam deeper the water became more inky and cold. Seaweed started to wave and rocks were becoming visible, along with coral and sponges. The Sun was growing smaller, she wanted this Human to drown, and didn't want anyone interfering.

Raquel hissed when the darkness didn't reach Siona in time, and growled and shot forward, blood streaming from her back as she went, blending in perfectly with her hair...like dark, liquid fire.
She shot after Siona, moving as quickly as her strength and energy would allow, using her mind now to control the shadows, keeping them hot on the siren's tail, hoping to God that this boy wouldn't die before Raquel could save him.
She pushed herself onto her highest speed, gaining on Siona steadily and rather quickly, her expression dark, angry, and fiercely determined.

Landon could feel the water pressure building up as he was pulled deeper under the water. He would most certainly drown if she kept the decent by his lungs being crushed. He struggled against her when he saw the sun being more distant and the waters growing darker. Why did she want him dead? It wasn't like he himself caused and harm upon the mermaid or siren race.

Siona looked back, growling she swam even deeper. Skimming across the bottom she weaved between the rocks. Then the kelp started to thin out as did the rocks, becoming sand. She smirked as the saw the steep drop that led down into inky blackness, down there it was freezing and filled with creatures that gave Humans and lots of Mermaids the creeps. She started to swim deeper, if he didn't loose all his air, he would certainly be crushed under the increasing pressure. She put on a burst of speed, using telekinesis she focused on removing what rocks there were and throwing them through the water at Raquel. She dug her nails into Landon to stop him struggling and just for fun.

Akua struggled and nervously began to back up as the fight swarmed, she had tried her best to keep from viewing the mermaids and sirens faces. After all one of her powers or what she would call a curse was the after seeing the faces of others then she could feel they're pain.

Rito swam up and grabbed Akua's hand," Come on we have to get out of here...I don't want you being near any sirens!"

Akua ignored him and pulled her arm away before pointing her hand downwards and after concentrating a ball of fire formed in the palm of her hand and she shot it at the siren win full speed.

Raquel hissed in dismay when she saw where Siona was headed. With a vicious snarl she sprinted forward, gliding up to Siona's side while dodging the rocks that were thrown at her, diving beneath them or swerving to the side of them. She pushed on her shadows with all her might, feeling them finally take hold on Siona's skin, gripping firmly around her stomach and wrapping tightly around it. She closed her eyes, focusing on both of her powers, trying to stop the siren and hold her in place while sensing any nearby creatures that would help the boy.
Her eyes snapped open when her searching caught the attention of one creature that she didn't necessarily want to be known by. Her frantic glance darted to the edge of the abyssal trench, widening in fear. The inky blackness there began to shift, expand slightly above some hulking shape that was slowly rising up to the top of the trench. Raquel hissed again, focusing on her shadows, tightening them around Siona's stomach like tenticles, reaching for the boy with her free arm. But when the fireball came flying by, Raquel gasped and recoiled against the heat, diving to the sand, struggling to maintain her hold on the siren.

Siona snarled as she was yanked back into the sand by Raquel. After slamming into the sand she swum up, but kept her grip firm on the boy. Just a few more minutes....... She looked at the trench, smirking, something wanted their dinner. She looked at Raquel, saw her bleeding and smirked even more, Sharks and other such predators would smell her blood and come after her. Leaving Siona to get away with the Human.
