As much as I would like to see TheCalicoTabby's dog lineart become a regular thing, I think it should stay a one-of-a-kind. A staff pet loses its uniqueness when the line-edits are used for other pets. For example, Tyr's staff pet from 2012:

It was and still is an awesome staff pet, but it lost its uniqueness when the Slumber Party came around...


So I honestly think this staff pet should stay the way it is; unique. c:

I'd love to see how each artist's hints played into the final outcomes.....
I really hate that they're all removed when the artist's pup is claimed. :c

I can't really remember my hints, either. However, I know I had one that was to the effect of "My dog has some similarities to my previous staff dogs [meaning: edited ears] but has more in common with other dogs I have done [which could refer to my Natural dog litter for being a natural dog, my first litter that had some collie-like markings or my dog adoptables which include collies, depending on how you interpret it]". I also have one post in here somewhere where I spelled out the word 'collie' in it, as well as a post where I said something like, "I'll be generous with the hints and admit that mine is a dog", which, of course, he is. A collie dog. ^^

Well the line-art is still unique,the feet are different, and the beak is slightly fuller in the one below, but I agree with you, I think the line art for this dog should stay unique, and one of a kind.

The slumber party gryphons were Tyr's as well but I do understand what you mean. Though it is still unique in a way as it's got the raised forepaw and the back leg is crouched.

I don't really mind if the lines are used again or not... well actually I wouldn't want it to become a regular/common lineart. Just a few times for an event or something like that. But if the lines were never used again that's fine too ^^
