Silvershine followed Hawkthorn and Crowpaw. She sniffed the air for prey, her eyes dashing across one side to another.

He stopped at a white birch tree. "So Icepaw, what do you smell?" He asked.

Icepaw sniffed the birch tree. Our scent is stale, and no one has crossed the border,"he meowed.

Snowpelt watched curiously as Pinestar tested Icepaw, nodding in happiness when he answered correctly.

Icepaw nodded and followed Pinestar. Suddenly, he spotted a squirrel a few inches across. Icepaw darted after it, chasing it towards the end of the border. It scampered across, and it climbed over the it. "Mouse dung! I nearly had that squirrel!" He cursed.

"You could've gotten it if you had stalked it. But overall, you did very good tracking it,"he praised.
