Sandstripe had just gotten to shore, " Spottedmoon" he gasped, seeing his sister. He missed her so badly and if she was here...." no....no" he murmured, pressing his nose to his mothers soaking fur.

Reddawn opened her eyes slightly, " Sandstripe.....I love you and Russetwing, tell her and my grandkits I love them and I will watch over them all. Ash I love you more than anything, please....take care of our kits, they will be great warriors some day" she rasped. Her eyes dimmed and she felt her pain ebb away.
