"Thank you Cloudstar...Do you think you could see if Silentvoice would like to come too?-I mean- Since he has nothing else to do." She meowed and gave her kits a lick on their foreheads. Roseheart then walked out of the nursery quickly, thoughts going through her mind as she spoke to him. "Jadewing, Flameleap! I would like to come too." She meowed when she had gotten closer to them. Cloudstar is there anything I need to know? She wondered.

Featherstone's ears flicked, and he looked at Berryfrost.
"I choose you." He licked her cheek, gave their kits a lick on their heads, and backed out from the nursery. He had to protect them. Featherstone padded stiffly after the others. "I want to go in Silentvoice's stead."

She looked at Featherstone. "Featherstone, you should protect the kits when the camp is bein attacked. Plus, Berryfrost needs your care." She said, glancing at the nursery then turned to Roseheart. "Sure, you can tag along. Are your kits save?"

Cloudstar
Do what you think is the best, Roseheart. His voice echoed in her ears one last time before fading.

"I know they will be fine. I'll be leaving Silentvoice to protect them." He glanced towards his nephew, who was staring at the nursery thoughtfully. "It would be best to leave him here, on familiar grounds, to protect camp than to bring him into unfamiliar territory and expect him to fight. I need to come with you to fend off any attackers headed this way," he muttered.

Pain filled her eyes as she watched her mate volunteer to protect them. Looking down at their kits she sighed softly. 'Starclan keep him safe' She thought, letting a single tear fall on her kits head.
