"Well apparently the general was trying to kill Merrik and the girl that was with him. I heard the gunshot and came running. Merrik had shifted and was confronting the General. I tore into the Generals arm before he could shoot again. Merrik circled exchanging a few words with the General before returning to the girl, who is apparently his fiance, and blocking me and the general out for her. Merrik watched as I dragged the grneral down, who was cursing rather loudly, and crushed his windpipe. Merrik and his Fiance left not looking back, I dragged the body away and disposed of it, and then came back here... Which reminds me. What happened to you two?" He looked at Ava and Luna.
