As an update for those who are reading this I have spoken to two mako mods and currently I plan to keep Cari's name as it has a different meaning, is pronounced Carry-Dwen as opposed to Keh-RID-wen. I'm not sure if ofmice is spelling her makos name as Ceridwen or Ceredwen so Cari is one or two letters different and the fact I will refer to her as Cari most often like I refer to her Celtic heritage mother as Eldhri instead of Eldhrimnir.
I did not copy ofmice as now that I was alerted to the similarity I can only find the name used twiced (not counting today) and only in the fanclub. As for the fact the name is unique I was specifically looking for Celtic names relating to stars (in Cari's case astrology) welsh is a Celtic country and I didn't choose celtic out of the blue, her mother is celtic.
For those who may have accidentally implied it or are thinking it I would like to make it clear that I am not a thief
If you have an issue please pm me instead now. I only had this little bit up and said now because I prefer the mako community and the wonderful staff not think I'm a copier or thief
As for the archives you guys are doing a great job with them and I have no problem with them. You can't put every mako in there every second of the day I just meant I can't be blamed for not looking in the archives when it's not in the archives. It's not slander on the archives just simple look in the archives yourself before you say something about not using them when naming.
I'm not upset with anyone just reiterating what cole said a few pages back about being considerate of how what you say may sound. It's the Internet so I can't read the pitch if your voice or see your body language.
Sorry if I'm mini modding but I wanna thank six, penum, poison, sola, Bronn and sad.
I just wanted the community to know that I didn't know of this mako, didn't meen for the similar names, that they are still different in spelling, pronunciation, and meaning. And that I plan to keep her name but will most often call her Cari which I pronounce K-A-REE
