Yeah that's fine, Any program you download will be an Executable file or .exe. That just means it will make files in your registry so you can use all the functions in the program ^^

What you have to look out for is in the installer, Read each time you click next. If the top does NOT say Gimp, don't click accept. For example:

Install MacAfree
Accept . . . Decline <-- Always this one

These will screw your computer over, and track your internet history. They are called Browser Hi-Jackers and can be dangerous is you install them. So just read and be careful XD
