Steele found Jack with another fae and bolted in front of him, "Sir! Intruders on North end." She reported and she skidded to a stop. Steele snarled at Rain and raised her hackles.

Rain looked horrified. She backed away from Steele, flattening her ears against her skull. She stood behind Jack, looking at Steele like she was insane, and that Rain was scared. "Why do you want to hurt me?" she said so quietly, so softly, that Jack hardly heard.
