She glanced over at where she saw Flintfoot and Kestrelflame begin to come into camp. She turned her head away, her face showing no emotions as she was lost in thought. She tucked her paws underneath her body, but her head was held up. She wrapped her tail around the front of her body, her head high as she stared into nothingness. For a while now, a very long time, she had these moments. Moments where she did nothing. All she did was just think, and stare. Sometimes she didn't even think about anything, just stare into empty space.

Flintfoot slightly tilted his head as Flamewing spoke. He winced at her slight bitterness. He was so used to her sweet and caring voice. Does she not care? He thought.
