Yeah, I don't think it'd get along with the DGs or the angel, so bettas are a no-go Cx Just trying to decide if I should go with zebra danios or some other fry-eater or ditch the swords, haha. (When I said I was getting the angel last to avoid aggression I meant aggression towards the rest of the fish I get, not a potential betta x3)
I'm traveling til Friday w/ no access to my tablet!
Mostly quitting CS; I'll check messages on occasion but
DA or Skype is probably a better place to contact me.

Aw yiss, welcome Potatobob!! Glad to see there's another barb keeper here.
My featherfin catfish actually has a REALLY bad case of ich, like his entire body is covered, I spent all last night crying about it lmao. He's still eating but I'm scared for him. I really don't want to lose him, he's 5 or 6 years old, had him since he was a lil teeny thing.
My mom won't let me go to the store to get meds to kill the ich, and it's not getting any better, it's spreading back to the blood parrots and my meanest panda barb ended up covered too. They're all looking terrible. I'm really upset about it. :\
I also salted the tank for the other fish, 'cause my catfish can handle salt, idk what other people are talking about saying it'll kill him, but he's fine. I tried raising the temps but my black ruby barbs couldn't handle the heat and kept jumping out of the tank. Didn't want them to die so I lowered it back. I don't know what else I can do, my mom won't take me to the store and I don't have the money to have any meds delivered to me.

Ich meds typically don't do squat, so it probably won't make a difference if she lets you go.
Just raise the temperature and add salt and vacuum the gravel/do water changes every day.
The temperature speeds up the ich's lifespan or whatever.
Also, some fish(like some catfish) are more sensitive to salt. Cories develop kidney problems I think I read? It's late, I can't really remember. Sorry. So it could cause problems if you don't treat right. Just saying "cause my fish can handle it, all these people are wrong" is a bit rude. You don't /know/ that he can handle it and is fine. ^^; However, it seems like your best course of action to just treat with heat, salt, and water changes.

Betta. wrote:What kind of snails are they? They're really pretty and cute. Also would snails eat aquarium plants if I were to put some in?
They're called golden rabbit snails. ♥ They are very peaceful creatures and have a lot of character. c:
As for plant eating, it depends on what kind of snails you're looking for! Golden rabbits may have a nibble
at java ferns if they're hungry, and apple snails might have a bite of your plants if they're starving, but
generally snails tend to only eat decaying plant matter. ^-^
