THE LOST RIDERS - #94

Postby AirAngel » Mon Jul 28, 2014 4:17 am

Unlike many adoptables, this species isn't a "quick adopt, get a whole bunch" kind. Each one is unique and special. Each has its own story, history, and future. You, as a potential owner, will not only adopt it, but actually own it.

Keep in mind--Tribesman and women wear armor or leather garments, not casual clothes like hoodies or jeans.
They also do not have very modern-like objects, like glasses, hats, etc.

This silvery beast is very morose and sullen. It snaps at anyone who attempts to draw near to it.

Is this the one for you? Are you up for its capture?

Extras and pretty forms are allowed and encouraged. Extras include pictures, stories, personality, ect.

Tamed forms have a much better chance than Feral forms. Feral dinos may change to a tamed dino at any time. If you are interested in training your Bernikesaur, the information about training is on the front page.

Dino's Name:
Horcurux
Personality:
Horcurux is a very fiery dino that rampages almost all the time. He is not one to get near or mess with sine he snaps at EVERYTHING that tries to approach/come near him. He is considered one of the most dangerous of them all.
Short story about any time in this Bernikesaur's life:
(( From Horcurux's point of view from how he became snappy ))
Horcurux- How He Became Snappy
As I walked through the hot sand, sun beating down on me I think to myself Why are those pesky creatures always trying to approach me.... They should know better! I continued walking and walking until I heard one of them yell out something. I roared and lashed my tail, not used to being ambushed. I started swinging my tail and trying to kick them away but it was no use. I roared again and remembered I can bite and snap at them! Then I suddenly lashed out with my fangs and watched them all jump and flee from the ambush site. I snorted and huffed as I turned and started walking away

Short story about your rider first seeing this Bernikesaur:
(From the point of view of Kedar)
I sat contentedly in a large oak tree, watching for dinos as I did every day. Why we were all required to do this was beyond me. However, I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't even notice the roar of a dino fast approaching. It's heavy footfalls and the all-too-familiar roar as it followed my scent to the tree. When it finally came into view it took my breath away. It was graceful and slender yet large and an elegant silver. If love at first sight exists, I was held deep in it. But I then realized that I was fixed in the eyes of the dino and it wanted me for it's next meal. Hastily climbing higher in the tree I cling to the trunk for dear life as the giant scaled body slammed into it and causing the tree to lean heavily to one side. But then it was silent. I dared a glance over my shoulder only to find that the beautiful creature was now right under me, trying to find a way up. When leaping and snapping at me proved useless, she moved to the other side of the tree and rammed it again to make it lean even more. I whimper and cling to the branch as I was brought even lower, and even closer to the gaping maw of the Berkinesaur. I couldn't cling to the tree forever, and she knew it. I grit my teeth as my fingers began to slip. The tree leaned far enough that I figured I could hit the ground with only a bruised tailbone although getting past the snapping teeth would be a problem. However I didn't have time to contemplate how as my fingers gave out and suddenly there was free space on all sides. My hair whipped around my face and I gave a small gasp. The berkinesaur uttered a triumphant roar as it leaped to pluck me from the air. Unfortunately for it, and fortunately for me, it leaped to0 early and I bounced off it's scaly muzzle in a different direction. The ground came to meet me as I landed with a loud thud. I lay dazed for a few moments before rolling over and staggering to my feet. The dino wasn't so quick to react. I felt a dull ache in my right hip but aside from that running wasn't too hard. A few seconds passed and I was a few feet away before the Berkinesaur found me again. I flee for my life but out running a fully grown dino is a tad impossible. However I saw a large thicket of thorn bushes with just enough space underneath I could hide and the dino couldn't get past the barbs. I take a diving leap and slide under on my stomach with only a fraction of a second's time before I was to be eaten. Her jaws closed inches from where my head was seconds before. I lay still while it tried desperately to get me before withdrawing with a bleeding muzzle. I felt bad for her but I didn't come out. Eventually as the sun began to set she lost interest and wandered away - After snapping a few more times at the bush - And I poked my head out carefully. My dream Berkinesaur just escaped. But it didn't mean I wouldn't see her again.
