So, on the 23rd of last month, it was mine and EveAngel's 4 month anniversary.
Unfortunately, she wasn't on that day or the week, and even the past few days she was gone with noone knowing why. But today she messaged me saying she's been having internet problems. BUT little did I know she had this set on a timer ;w; this has literally brought happy tears to my eyes ;w;

how many of your characters have theme songs? how do you decide on theme songs for your characters?

All my characters have theme songs, I tend to like finding songs for them as it really helps me get into the mind set of writing for them when I feel it's getting tough. I have to like the songs as I'll be listening to them a lot, but usually it's the song lyrics or meaning of the song that matches it to a character for me. I do know people who have had instrumentals for their characters, but I've never had an instrumental for any of mine.

So for an example. My boy Accelerate, and one of his theme songs is Make it Up by Sam Tsui (you'll find it on the profile if you're interested in having a listen.). But I felt like the music and general tone of the song matched him very well. He's very upbeat and always up for bantering and always smiling. The lyrics are pretty much just about making it up as you go, not worrying about what could happen and being optimistic. That's pretty much Ace in a nutshell. So, his theme song. (His other one doesn't have much lyrical similarities and it's the only song I have for any of my characters that doesn't, but It just feels right to attribute it to Accelerate. The mood just seems to fit him.)
