FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
All you need to know about Cutiepie Critters!

What are Cutiepie Critters?
Well, for starters...they are animals that come in every shape and size!
I'm going to be adding everything I can possibly think of, from domestic animals
like cats and dogs to wild animals like lions, tigers, and bears...Oh, my!
Want an animal that isn't listed here? Then ask for a customized species!
After yours has been made, the lineart will be added to the list of available Cutiepie Critters!
That way, if there is someone else in the future who wants the same animal...it's already there!

There are two different types of Critters: natural and exotic.
Natural Critters will come in colors that are natural to whatever species of animal they are.
Cats and dogs will be in blacks, grays, browns while tigers will be orange or white with black stripes, and so on.
Exotic Critters will come in all shades of the rainbow and more!

Adoptables vs. Customizables
Adoptables are Cutiepie Critters that have been born directly into my Kennels.
You can browse through the Kennels below to see what Critters are available at any given time.
Typically, new ones will be added in when I have the time to make them.
When new ones come in, the old ones will no longer be available. Adoptables can be natural or exotic.

Customizables, on the otherhand, are “albino” Cutiepie Critters that can be customized to your liking.
You're the one who gets to decide every aspect of your Critter, from fur and eye color to number of
tails and accessories! I'm assuming most Customizables will be exotic.
Customizables will cost 1 pet more than adoptables found in the Kennels.

Animated Critters
Animated Critters are Critters that will move! You can choose to have them either
blink their eyes, twitch their tail, or turn their head around to look at you with both eyes!
(Some Critters may have a different animation. PM me if you want a different sort of animation.
Though, I cannot guarantee that you'll get the animation you want, it's worth talking to me about it.)
Be warned, though! Animated Critters will cost a few pets more than regular Critters.
Why? Because I will have to create multiple frames, color each one, mess with the timing,
and it just takes a lot longer overall to do than a regular Critter does.
Also, you can only have Customizable Critters be made into animated Critters!

Backdrops
Backdrops are the background behind the Cutiepie Critters.
Default is a background matching the gray forum color.
Simple backdrops are 1 solid color.
True backdrops are actual scenes that I draw behind the Critter.
Backdrops don't affect the price of the Critter.

Accessories - Original vs. Store Bought vs. Wedding
Accessories are items that can be added to your Critters.

"Original accessories" are accessories that you originally get with the pet. Typically, these will be accessories
that are very unique because they will be thought up by the customer themselves and not by me.
Original accessories don't affect the price of the Critter.

"Store Bought accessories" are accessories that you can buy in the Cute-ify Your Cutiepie store below!
Currently, the list of accessories includes:
collars, bracelets, necklaces, scarves, socks, and earrings.

"Wedding accessories" are accessories that are bought specifically for use during a wedding!

The accessories are split into three categories, one being easier/smaller accessories,
two being larger, more complex accessories that will probably take a little longer,
and three being items made by my Guest Accessory Designers.
Category 1 accessories will cost 1 pet, but you'll be able to get 4 items.
Category 2 accessories will cost 2 pets, but you'll be able to get 3 items.
Category 3 accessories will cost 2 pets, but you'll be able to get 2 items.
Wedding accessories get their own, special section in the Cute-ify Your Cutiepie store.
Please check the Cutiepie Critters Payments section below to check the Categories and prices.

Essentially, you'll be able to have several different versions of a Cutiepie Critter by adding accessories to them!
You can even add Store Bought accessories to Critters that you adopt from the Kennels, to make them more unique!

Breeding
Any and all Cutiepie Critters are breedable! You can breed Adoptables with Customizables.
You can even breed two different species of Critters and get a hybrid!
Hybrids are Critters that are half of one species and half of a different species. For example,
if you breed a rabbit with a cat you will get a Critter that has the front half of a rabbit and the back half of a cat!
Or you might even get a Critter with the front half of a cat and the back half of a rabbit!

One downside of breeding is that you cannot breed Critters that don't belong to you.
This means you and another person can't breed your Critters with one another.

If you're willing to pay a little extra, you can breed your Critters with Critters available in the Breeding Room.
Everyone who has one or more Critters can breed theirs with Critters in the Breeding Room.
Critters that are in the Breeding Room cannot be adopted out by anyone.
You can only breed your Critters with them and adopt the offspring they create.

Breeding is not done randomly!!!
I have assigned dominant and recessive genes to things such as fur color, eye color, and whether
the Critters have wings or not. Every Critter that is created will be given Breeding Gene Information.
This information will be kept by me in the event that you wish to breed your Critters.
When it comes time to breed, all you have to do is present me with the pets you wish to have bred,
and give me a long list of numbers that correlate to how the offspring will look!

Nursery
The Nursery is where all Cutiepie Critter offspring will be kept. Once the Nursery starts to fill up,
the oldest offspring will be removed to make way for new ones. The Nursery is really just a place
to show off all the different outcomes you can have when you breed Cutiepie Critters!

The Critter Shelter
If for some reason you no longer want your Cutiepie Critter, please notify me
so that I may put your Critter up for adoption in the Critter Shelter.
All Critters who are put into the Critter Shelter can be adopted out to someone else who would like them.

Cutiepie Critters from the Critter Shelter cannot be renamed.
Their fur color, eye color, or any other physical appearance cannot be changed, either.
You can add or take away accessories that are on these Critters, though!

History of Cutiepie Critters
Cutiepie Critters originally started out as a section of my other art shop,
Rainbow Panda Magic Variety Art Shop. I sell everything there from
drawings, avatars, and signatures to stamps, bump signs, and wallpapers.
However, it was just too difficult to keep everything
Cutiepie Critter-related neat and orderly in one, huge post in the shop.
So I decided to create a separate shop solely dedicated to Cutiepie Critters!

One: Do not, under any circumstances, remove the small rp101 signature on the Critters. If I see you've removed it, you will automatically be added to my foe list and blacklist. You will not be allowed to order from my shop again, either.

Two: Do not, under any circumstances, remove the link back to my art shop that comes with every pet. If I see you've removed it, you will receive one warning. If you do not add the link back to my art shop back onto your pet, you will be added to my foe list and blacklist. You will not be allowed to order from my shop again, either.

Three: Do not, under any circumstances, steal my Cutiepie Critters. If I see that you have stolen one, I will report you, foe you, and blacklist you.

Four: Be patient with me. I have a life that doesn't always revolve around making art. This means no spamming this thread or my inbox with questions of when I'll be done with your Cutiepie Critters. Most of my work can only be done on weekends.

Five: If you edit your order post in any way, please post or PM me a heads up. Sometimes I might not notice you changed your post until it is too late. Thank you.

Six: Every person can have up to 5 orders at one time. No more than that, otherwise I'll get overloaded. You can do 2 Customizables, 2 Adoptables, and 1 Breeding at a time, or whatever other combinations you come up with. However, you CANNOT order 5 of the same thing at one time. You can order 2 of the same thing at one time, but no more than that.

Seven: Please try to refrain from mindless chit-chat in the thread. I know everybody likes to talk, but there's a wonderful invention called the private message that allows you to hold your conversations privately! Please use that if you're wanting to chat amongst yourselves!

Eight: Unless your username is listed on my moderators list below, please don't moderate other people's behavior in the thread. That's what the moderator's job is, as well as mine (since I am the owner).

Nine: NO DOUBLE POSTING. I've seen this happening a lot lately in the thread, and I would appreciate it if it stopped. The only person allowed to double post is ME (rainbowpanda101) for the purpose of announcements and bumping the thread. Things to Keep In Mind When Dressing Your Critters
Most items, such as the scarf, necklace, and mittens have a designated
spot that they will go. However, there are some items (like the earrings) that you can
request to put in specific spots. You can't ask to put an earring anywhere but on the ear, though.
Dressing up your Critter doesn't cost anything! You pay for the items and have them forever!

Their fur color, eye color, or any other physical appearance cannot be changed, either.

Once the gender of the offspring has been determined,

Just until I can find time to make some Wedding accessories!

Remember how I said that you couldn't breed your Critters with other people's Critters? Well, that has changed!
But there is one condition you must meet in order to have your Critter breed with someone else's...
The two Critters have to get married! That's right! Married!
Be forewarned, though! Weddings aren't cheap! Like a real wedding, you have to pay for stuff!

When you purchase a Wedding Plan, you may breed with another person! The best part?
You get a picture of your pets at the alter, plus the option to roleplay the actual wedding!
A new Wedding Plan must be purchased for every wedding, but items can be re-used.

The Wedding Plan comes with:

• a wedding certificate (a copy will go to each person)
• a picture of the two, dressed up Critters at the alter (a copy will go to each person)
• the ability to buy Wedding Items

However, because putting together a wedding is a huge deal, there will only be 1 slot open at a time.
Since there's also the chance this may get out of hand, I have some rules that you must follow.

WEDDING RULES

1. Each of the Critters must be owned by different people.

2. If you are planning on breeding, the Critters must be one male and one female. Other pairs (male x male and female x female) are allowed, but they cannot breed.

3. The certificate has an expiration date, so you will not be able to marry and breed with someone else again until that date. (This gives you time to have some baby Critters!) The expiration date can be decided by the couple, or it can be the default expiration of 2 weeks. Couples can even decide to not have an expiration at all.

4. You MUST purchase a Wedding Plan to be able to marry.

5. Be patient! I will most likely be doing all of this alone, or I may possibly have a little help from Christmas Wolfy.

6 You MUST choose 1 maid of honor and 1 best man. Choosing bridesmaids and groomsmen is optional, and the maximum number of each is 3. All maids of honor, best men, bridesmaids, and groomsmen must be EITHER Critters owned by the owners of the couple getting married OR Critters owned by people who the couple are inviting to roleplay in the wedding.

7. You CANNOT back out once you are getting married. No cold paws/hooves/talons/fins, please!

8. You have to purchase items for your Critters. The minimum amount of purchasing (not including the Wedding Plan) is a wedding dress, a tuxedo, and wedding rings. (These items can be reworn in later weddings.) You can't have your Critters in the nude on their wedding day!

If you break 4 rules, your wedding will be canceled.
You will not be refunded for any Wedding related purchases you made up to that point.
So be really, really sure you want to do a Wedding!

The above is subject to change at any time!
I may add or subtract parts if things get too out of hand or too many people are breaking rules.
If that is the case, I will stop Weddings altogether and go back to having it
so that nobody can breed their Critters with anyone else.

There will be a checklist under the Wedding Slot in the Slots Open/Waiting List
section that will show what has been paid for and by whom.
The groom can pay for his bride's items or vice versa.

These are invitations that you can send to friends!
These are only available if you will be roleplaying the wedding.
Plus, you will have to provide me with the usernames of the people being invited.

Unlike all of the other forms, this form MUST BE SENT TO ME OVER PM!
Each person interested in marrying 2 Critters must fill out this form and PM IT TO ME.

Replace [username here] with your username.
Replace [other person's username here] with the other person's username.
Provide a link to the Critter you are wanting to get married.
Provide the species and name of the other person's Critter.
Provide links to maid of honor, best man, bridesmaid(s), and groomsmen.
Tell whether you are wanting to roleplay the actual wedding or not.
Provide a date for the expiration of the wedding certificate.
If no expiration is given by either person, it will be the default of 2 weeks.

Don't forget - PM me this form!!!

Things to Keep In Mind When Dressing Your Critters
Most items, such as the scarf, necklace, and mittens have a designated
spot that they will go. However, there are some items (like the earrings) that you can
request to put in specific spots. You can't ask to put an earring anywhere but on the ear, though.
Dressing up your Critter doesn't cost anything! You pay for the items and have them forever!
