Ive got a question ^-^
I get my images for RPs from a page called "pixelio.de" its a german side, where the pics have no licens. I used pics from it 3 or 4 times, is that allowed? Or do I have to remove them?

It looks like that site is good to use as long as you link back to the image you used (though I'm reading it on Google translate, so I could be wrong. (: As long as you're giving credit you don't need to remove your images!

We can't use pictures from Google? That is what I always do...but now I can't... Makes me sad...

Google is just a place where all the images are grouped together, so they could be from anywhere originally, which is why Google is not a source. If you want to use Google there is a tutorial for that in the guide, but you will get many fewer results because it will only return images that are okay to use.

I found an image i want to use, but im just not sure about 2 things. On the license it says your aloud to share and adapt. My first question is does that mean, i can resize it and make it transparent? My second question is in the under the following terms it says:

Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.


So how do i give, appropriate credit AND indicate that changes were made, if i'm aloud to make changes

Yes, adapting would mean that it's fine to resize/make it transparent. If you link back to the source of the image that will be sufficient for everything else, as the source will show a link to the license.

I'm trying to follow the rules about google images, but I'm confused. If I find a picture that I can use but I have to give credit to the person who developed it, does that mean that I say something like "I have made modifications to this photo and all rights are reserved to link" underneath the picture?
