The Doctor paused at a street lamp by an intersection. His bright green shirt was unbuttoned slightly, and only the front was somewhat tucked in. He looked like a young, scruffy business man, just back from a night of parting. The chipping came again, this time far more urgent. He glanced at the screen again, and his blue eyes widened in surprise. "Now? Why now?" he murmured aloud in a low soft voice. "What is so fascinating about this little planet? Nothing interesting here, yet it is always under attack by something or another," he commented. His mind skipped back to two regenerations ago, when he wore a lovely long coat with gigantic pockets. He could carry anything in there, partially because it was modified. Sadly, it ended up lost in one of the TARDIS' closets, where nothing every comes back. The Doctor found himself missing it, mostly because of its storage use. Plus, it had a nice dramatic flapping effect.

Dani looked at the girl who had just walked over, quite close to her. She saw her looking at something, and turned in the same direction. She was distracted for a moment from her job worries, by a man, with dark red hair, wearing a suit with converse. He was holding a strange looking device, it looked like a mobile, but it was somehow different. And so was he... The way he walked, so... sure of himself. She glanced back at the other girl, and saw her looking in the same direction. Because of her shy nature, she didn't say anything, she was too nervous to say anything at all.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Xaria whistled to herself. "He was... different..." She muttered. Even his sense of style was different. She wondered what it was that made her think he wasn't normal, besides from his appearance. She bit her lip as she thought, stuffing her hands into her pockets.

[~Rachy~]

Dani wondered whether she should reply. Deciding it would be rude not too, she murmered back "Yeah..." She turned, and started to walk away, wondering if the girl would follow. She still had to find a job... Still, she could just tell her mum she couldn't find one. She didn't even want one, so...

[Davy + Aero]

Asylum narrowed his eyes as he watched the three people. He knew who the man was, yes, but who where the other two? What would they do to each other? The time would come when he would have to interfere. He was not looking forward to it. It took a lot of energy to change the linves of the living. Most of the time it didn't work. The Inbetween was supposed to be a heaven, but death did not always bring happiness and peace. All he could do was watch the living. It brought back up memories he tried hard to fight down. He could see himself now, a long time ago...

[Midnight Butterfly]

Xaria grinned, following the girl. "And where are you going?" She asked, jogging up to her. "We've had him rushing somewhere already..." She continued, meaning the mysterious man. She had time before she had to get to the cafe, and this girl was certainly interesting.

[Davy + Aero]

Hrrr... Where were they going now? He sighed and let himself down to walk next to them. No one could see him of course, but maybe someday... Someday. The word he had said to himself all day, for thousands of years, to keep himself sane. He would find a way to break out, just like he had at that horrible place where he had died.

(( Urp. Okay, the whole Inbetween thing was in The Lovely Bones, my favorite book. I couldn't help it :3 ))

As the girl followed, Dani turned and said, "What's it to you? I don't even know you!" she exclaimed. Then she shook her head, and ran her hand through her hair, which for once was just loose and down. "Sorry... I'm just... stressed. My name's Dani." She struggled to overwrite her shyness, and smiled at the girl.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Xaria shrugged. "No worries... No different from most of the people at college. I'm Xaria and can I ask... why?" She rose an eyebrow, smiling back. She walked beside her calmly, used to being yelled at. It hadn't phased her at all.

"Oh, nothing much. Just... work stuff. I'm easily stressed, 'specially 'round people. No offense!" she said, not wanting to offend this girl, Xaria. She seemed nice.
