Jamie stopped walking and adjusted his bag, "okay, time to split" he said to his sister, they had recently moved to the area, and this was their first time going to separate schools

she looked at him "you sure you won't get lost this time?" she joked smiling

"shut it"

"i'm only asking because I'm worried" she said mimicking his tone, this was a common phrase he'd use

he rolled his eyes and gave her a noogy "see ya, be good" he said and took off towards his school

"hey! my hair!" she shouted with a scowl and watched him run off, she sighed and started walking towards her own school

Her and Jeremy walk to school together every day. They transferred here a few years ago. They were born in Bulgaria and moved to Canada when they were young. "By Nins." Jeremy said with a wave and started towards the boys school. "Bye Jer." She replied. They did roughly the same thing every day. And met back here to walk home.

"Bye mum bye pa!" I call as our small blue car makes its way back to the main road. I watch brothers and sisters say goodbye and it made me feel a bit envious wanting to have a sibling of my own, but I pushed it aside and headed towards the school.
