"Yea, real cool, but I'd bet you've gone to so many gatherings!" Said Rainpaw wide-eyed with curiosity. He turned and looked up at the leaders who were speaking with each other. He sat down and awaited for them to speak. "Can we sit with you?"

(Rainpaw and Bluepaw should be friends for a really long time before falling in love if we're doing that :3)

Mistypaw beamed, "Yea, sure, it would be my pleasure!" He purred ecstatically and fiddled with his tail a little. "It should be over after they speak, but I'll see you two next time, or one of you."

Owlstar nodded, "yes, I'll go first seeming that I am older," he cleared his throat and addressed the clans with a yowl to close the speaking. "A few things have happened in CreekClan..." he began, "Most of us remember CreekClan's former deputy, Wetfoot. He was a great cat, but very unfortunately, a week ago left camp and never returned. I have waited, but I think that maybe it is time to pick a new deputy, I shall in one day if his arrival does not come." He bowed his head in silence for a few heartbeats but continued, "But, Fishleap has joined the elder's den after many moons of effort..." He looked at Blossomstar and nodded his head in signal for her to go.

Blossomstar stood up and stepped forward about a pawstep. "We will always remember Webfoot as a loyal cat." She mewed, dipping her head to Owlstar. She turned back to face the cats, "BlizzardClan as well has lost our former deputy in a previous avalanche. Right before the gathering, I had appointed Blacktail as the new deputy."

Bluepaw nodded, sitting next to mistypaw and Rainpaw. She nodded at owlstars words, and cheered with the clan for blacktail. She wondered then, who the new deputy would be... She excitedly swept her tail back and fourth upon the log excitedly.

Adderfoot watched the two leaders speak, nodding, and cheering when needed. He looked over blizzardclan and his own clan too, picking out the cats he had seen before. One cat was sitting upon a log. 'That must be blacktail!' He thought.

Both cats chanted for the BlizzardClan deputy, "Blacktail! Blacktail! Blacktail! Blacktail!" As the other clan cats at the gathering did, Rainpaw looked for the she-cat Blacktail and saw a proud black sitting with her tail wrapped around her paws on a log. That must be her

"We mourn for such losses, although we praise the new cats who have gained respect and become deputy." He dipped his head to Blossomstar and scanned the clearing for the new BlizzardClan deputy's pure black pelt. Blacktail looked embarrassed to be called out but swelling with pride.

(Sorry! I completely forgot about the gathering!)

Blossomstar also scanned the cats for her deputy, Blacktail, a smile forming as she spotted her sitting down in the crowd with a proud expression on her face. "If no one else has anything to announce, I guess this concludes our gathering." The she-cat mewed, turning to Owlstar for a responce, her brown tail flicking contently.

Lynxpaw stayed towards the back, slightly nervous around this many cats. He had cheered when Blacktail's name was called but had cheered very quietly, compared to all the other voices, especially the BlizzardClan ones. He tried to look over the head's of all the older cats but failed, not being able to find her through the other cats.

Owlstar nodded and dipped his head, "Good luck, Blossomstar," he turned to the others, "We'll hopefully be back next fullmoon with a new deputy to take Wetfoot's place!" He announced and leaped down from the rock nimbly, landing on his paws with a puff of dust blown into the air. He swept down the center of the clan cats and over to the entrance where he flicked his tail in order for CreekClan to follow him. The older leader trotted away and was off to camp.
