Sorry if it's been answered - but who coloured the newborn of the staff litter?

This happens to almost every litter.

Is that a problem? Elements happen to be a common and relatively easy theme to use in a wide variety of ways.

Are they graffiti themed? o:

huh. Graffiti ponies. Cool :0

I don't really see graffiti in the ponies because where I live people always just write things instead of drawing them, but still pretty awesome. *is excited for the last one to grow*

We're on the same boat then. I mean,I've seen some graffiti drawings, but they're not where I live. It's a shame though,I've seen some pretty cool ones!
But anyways, the ponies are looking amazing. I'm looking forward for the last (?) one to grow too.

No, I'm just very amused by it.

Almost everytime someone says that about a litter, even when it wasn't supposed to be an elemental theme.
'This is fire, because it has...' and 'There are... so it has to be water'

I don't know how you call it in english, but the "writing" you're talking about is not grafitti. Here we call it pixação, it's usually used by gangs to mark territories in urban places(unfortunately it's something very common). Grafitti, on the other hand, is the art. I've always loved it and I myself enjoy making my own grafitti-ish doodles whenever I'm bored and so I thought it would be a very cool theme for a pony litter ^^.

Most people where I live know graffiti as the term for writing (it's also called tagging), but we talked about (and did a project on) the artistic form of it in art class at my old school. It's really pretty.

Graffiti is the word in English. We use the same word for both the "tags" and the "art". And both are illegal in the states. You'd get in trouble for "defacing" whether you were writing something gang-y or creating something beautiful. Though I think there may be some places where wall art is permitted... Not positive. It may just be an on-going argument--is it art or defacement?...
Definitely a good theme though. I love how vibrant they are.

Ah I see. Here tagging is illegal as well, but I think Grafitti is allowed as long as the artist gets permission from the town hall. Both are pretty common to see around and some people even comission artists to paint the walls of their shops too. It's quite a big argument fuel nonetheless. In my case I've always seen graffiti as street art instead of defacement(preferably with permission as well), unlike tagging, and so my hands were super itchy to use this as theme for pet designs.

The "paint splatters" on the foals are actually spray splatters, while the base colors of the ponies were meant to resemble walls... although the adult outcomes ended up looking more like mere natural coats instead XD. I'm happy you all are enjoying them, though. That was a very fun litter to work on and something quite different from my previous pets.
