He tilted his head to the side, confused. How would she not know what kind of dog it was? He examined her face, but she didn't look like she was lying, just really nervous. He wasn't totally sure, but her eyes didn't look like normal human eyes. He'd never seen a blind human before, but he could see the similarities between her and the only blind troll he'd ever met. "...Are you blind?" he asked hesitantly. He didn't know if that was a sensitive topic or something, and now he's kind of regretting saying it. He hoped she wasn't the kind to take offense so easily.

Kononi looked up and over at the door. She smiled then looked back at Kankri. She glanced down at the ground for a moment. "anything else we could do?" she asked.

Kononi looked up and over at the door. She smiled then looked back at Kankri. She glanced down at the ground for a moment. "anything else we could do?" she asked.

"well, i'd like to get to know you better," kankri replied honestly, looking to her and smiling a little bit.

"Alright, ask anything you would like to know." Kononi said, shifting in her seat to face Kankri.

Jasi ruled her head again, this time towards him before blinking softly with a sigh. "Yes..." She admits slowly, expression slightly sad. The topic made her edgy, like it was such a crime to be blind. But it was a disadvantage. "I-I-Is it...dark?"

He stared at the human several metres away from him as she stared back at him, then realized what an idiot he must look like, hovering over the water and staring like a wiggler who has just been given the pail talk. Her timid, stuttered question was so different from the outburst he'd initially heard that he almost didn't realize that she'd actually said something, as he was so shocked at the difference in tone. Once the question did manage to register in his mind, he was quick to answer. "My name's Rufioh, uh, Nitram... what about you, doll?" He wasn't really used to talking with humans, as most of the people he knew and interacted with were trolls, but this one seemed alright. The pendant around his neck suddenly felt heavier, its weight pressing on his nearly-bare collar much more noticeably than usual.

The midget human debated whether to say her name or not but since the stranger 'Rufioh' had already given his name, you decided it was only fair to give yours. "Eris, Eris F-Foxtrot." She replied then got up, even realizing the nickname or maybe pronoun 'doll' Eris had ignored that and decided to continue the conversation, she crossed her arms in a defensive mode "You know, it would be nice if you stopped staring at me like that." She pouted, admittedly the usual cute pout, her pendant, suddenly felt heavier, it was light before but after talking to Rufioh, it just felt different, Eris ignored it, maybe it was just heavier around trolls.

Oh great, Tavros thought, now she thinks you're a total insensitive loser! Redeem yourself! He thought quickly, not really organizing his thoughts very well before he said, "Uhh, no, I didn't mean it like a bad thing! In fact, the opposite of a bad thing is what thing I think it is! It's great that you're blind, it is, um, a really cool thing to be..." He trailed off near the end, realizing how stupid he sounded. Gods, his bloodpusher was going crazy is his torsal cavern, what was up with that? He quickly changed topics, looking around and noting that, wow, when had it gotten this dark? Jackie was lying on the sidewalk by his feet, apparently seeing that her owner's conversation was going to last a while. "Um, yeah, it is getting a little bit dark," he said, eyeing the many shades of orange and pink of the sky to his left.

Embarrassed at having been caught staring, Rufioh quickly looked away from the human and down at the water below him. His wings beat in a steady pattern as he directed himself toward the human, Eris, and once his feet touched the damp ground he finally looked up again. "Sorry about that... I just wasn't expecting anyone to be around here, you know..." he said awkwardly, unconsciously bringing a hand up to the very real weight around his neck. He fiddled with the unique pendant as he shifted his gaze rapidly from Eris to anywhere else, and then back again repeatedly.

Jasi stayed silently though his talk, noting her lip. "Being blind isn't...fun..." She corrects softly, a frown on lips. Aussie sat and sniffed at Jackie a moment before hiding and glaring up at her blind owner.
