after the previous fame at regionals, many swimmers who
want to improve or who want to join the nationwide famous swim team that took first
before being disqualified, despite being a rookie team. now the swim club is bustling with
activity rather than sticking with the slow, boring team of four people. joint practices with
samezuka are extremely common now, considering the small pool of the iwatobi swim club
is too small for this many people. the two swim clubs are basically allies and are at the
verge of combining, considering both schools find it foolish to keep having iwatobi travel
for each practice. nevertheless, both teams are doing great, and with the prefectural
competition nearing again, there's no telling what is going to happen.



I → please follow all of tess's, the moderators, and administrators rules. i will not have
tolerance for someone who constantly goes along breaking each rule. make sure to read
the rules before roleplaying here if you haven't already.


III → please be polite to your fellow roleplayers and do not put them down or be rude. they
are people sitting on the other side of that computer too, not emotionless skins for you to
push around and harass all day long. please do not ignore anyone and try your best to get along.
IV → make your own forms if you have an oc. i don't mind if they're short, just please make
them.

V → please be active: aim for one post a day. i don't mind if it's one post every two days but
if you're holding the roleplay back i may have to remove your character. if inactive for more
than a week without a valid reason why, your character will be removed and the slot reopened.
VI → if you have a canon character, please stick to who they are instead of going astray and
changing their personality completely. haru can't suddenly have a burning hatred for the water
and nagisa can't suddenly be some depressed mess of emotions.

VII → you may have two canon characters at the most but you can have as many oc's as you can
handle. no female characters, please, unless they are canon or going to be oc team managers,
as this is the male swim club. if enough people join
and ask for a female swim club i may consider adding it in but i don't know if this roleplay will
get that far.

~The FreeStyle Swimmer~

personality:Haruka is a strong and quiet person who loves water. He is a taciturn and reserved individual. His strength lies in his confidence in his decisions. Up until Rin beat him their swim race, Haruka never questioned his reasons for swimming.

Haruka is very protective towards his friends, especially Makoto. During the team's summer training, Makoto relived his childhood nightmare in the ocean and felt compelled to tell his team the truth about his fear when the subject was brought up. Immediately sensing Makoto's hesitation, Haruka commanded Rei to drop the question.

Haruka also deeply values his friendship with Rin. Afraid that he had hurt Rin when Rin lost to him in a swimming race when they were little, Haruka had given up on swimming competitively just to guarantee Rin's victory the next time they were to race. This willingness to compete was gradually restored, however, when Rin challenged him a number of times. He was extremely devastated when he had overheard that Rin wanted to abandon swimming, as he wished desperately to be able to swim with Rin again. Haruka demonstrates his great determination, through his efforts to revive Rin's passion by seeking him out and offering consolation before the relay race.[3] He seems to be ticklish as shown in the seventh FrFr short.

Haruka's attraction to water makes him a very comical person; he will swim anywhere and in anything with water (including a fish tank). His style captivates many others, and he has a powerful fixation towards freestyle swimming in particular.


History:Starting his junior high school life, Haruka wasn't intending to do club activities at all because he didn't like that they would cut his swimming time down. He didn't see the point of doing anything other than swimming and time spent in P.E. classes doing sports was enough for him. On the first day of school, Asahi approached Haruka and said, "You look like the type of guy with no friends," therefore having a one-sided friendship with him. Haruka didn't seem to like Asahi and when he asked him to call him "Haru" like Makoto does, he said that he could, but just because he did not want Asahi to follow him around more.

Name:Seijuro Mikoshiba
Nickname: Nii-chan
Age: 18,or 19~
Personality: Seijuro is an enthusiastic person, being incredibly weak against cute girls - as seen as he has fallen in love with Gou on their first meeting, calling her “cute”. This attraction goes as far that his room is full of Gou's photos, as Haruka, Makoto, Nagisa, Rei and Gou discovered then they went to visit Rin's room, but accidentally entered Seijuro's. Nagisa once stated that he had thought that Seijuro was only an enthusiastic person and that he hadn't been a good swimmer, however, this was proven wrong when Seijuro won 1st place on the swimming tournament.

Contrary to his happy-go-lucky personality when around things he likes and girls, Gou mainly, Seijuro is a strict, serious captain of a swimming team. Even though he's strict, he sometime tends to give comic reliefs in the show, such as when he told The Swimming Team that a fearsome new face will enter the club in April and started frantically laughing, making Rei wonder "what kind of villain is he supposed to be". He is said to defy logic, being able to swim 100 meters one hundred times, not loosing one single time.

Though he scolded Rin at the relay against the Iwatobi High School Swim Club at the regional tournament, in the end he is the kind of person who laughs it off and just forgives. To hold the swim team of the renowned Samezuka Academy together you have to have a big heart. However, he has no mercy for those who slack off. Though his eyes wander when he’s in his flirting mindset, he is always firmly watching his club members’ movements, their bodily difficulties naturally as well, but he’s also checking their mental conditions. When he assesses someone to be unfit, he doesn’t shy away from pulling them out of the team.

Mikoshiba set a new record at the prefecture’s tournament. Even as the champion school’s captain, that ability is unfathomable. Even when that ability only vouches for his usual state of imperturbableness.

History:A little is known about Seijuro's history, but it's known that he won swimming competitions while being a grade schooler. However, he always placed second with Haruka always being first.

Rin Matsuoka

Rin is a fairly tall young man with semi-long, maroon
colored hair. He has scarlet red eyes and shark-like teeth whom make
him have a quite pleasant appearance. His winter and fall school uniform
consists of white trousers, a white buttoned up jacket with a
black t-shirt underneath it and black shoes. In the spring
his uniform consists of a black polo shirt with a pink collar,
as well as a pair of white pants and black shoes.
His school bag is a red messenger bag with
the word "shark" printed on the outside.

As the Iwatobi High School Swim Club continues to practice and
have fun together, Rin often times catches glimpses of them during
their practices and is notably morose when he sees how happy
they are together while he stands there alone.
The teenager aspires to make his father's dream of becoming an
Olympic swimmer come true and has detached himself from everyone
while working toward that particular goal. At times, Rin displays a softer side, as
he is shown to still harbor concern for his friends,but yet still his expression
is as always monotone,representing a mentor-like behaviour towards
his younger sibling Gou,and his room-mate Nitori.

attraction towards haruka nanase.


Misashi Hasegawa.

Misashi is a young woman,with an innocent like appearance and
most definetly she has a masculine name. She has medium sized
chestnut brown hair which freely cascades down her frail
shoulders. Her eyes own a mixture of a dark emerald green,and a
hazelnut brown. She has quite a soft skincolor which naturally looks
tanned. She usually is found wearing the Iwatobi school uniform,or a
tanktop with the color scheme of a sunny orange,a pair of denim
shorts and green sneakers. And yet of course,she does
wear glasses due to the fact that her eye sight is quite troublesome.

Misashi tends not to speak often,she usually is found reading
a book in the school library. Yet still,a few years before she
enrolled in Iwatobi high,she was a cheerful,outgoing,and yet
unusually perceptive young child. But after the tragic death
of her mother,she was truly heartbroken. The happenings of
the past had withdrawn her,and given her a quiet/monotone personality.
