:~:Why do you want this finchling?:~:
The reason I want this Finchling is because
I used to have a kitten that looked just like.
The kitten was really a family pet, but she
had the same type of markings, making her
rather unique to me. I wanted to get this
finchling in memory of Roxy because she
had passed away at a very young age.
Roxy was a great kitten, and one I wish to
remember forever. I will take good care of
this finchling, and plus this finchling might
be my first. I thought it would be nice to
have something in memory of Roxy, and
not just mental images of her, but
something I can draw, create stories for,
and everything.
Another reason is the fact, for as long as
I can remember, I've always had a cat in
my house hold. Cats have always been the
one animal me and my family have always
have. Cats became my life because of that.
This little Finchling is based off a cat, and
one I used to know. I miss Roxy a lot and
she was a very loved kitten. I mean, I can't
even name all the cats I used to know and
know my family has had. Yet I do know the
major cats we had and Roxy was one them.

A tiny chirp filled the early morning silence.
Feathers rustled together as tiny little wings
flutter happily as the sound of rugged plastic
shuffles over wood. The chubby body of the
little finchling keeping up with ease of her slow
moving owner. A chuckle follows her second
chirp. "Okay, okay. I'm getting your food Roxy,"
a sleep dulled voice says. Another chirp escapes
Roxy as her little tail wiggles around happily.
A bowl is set down before the finchling, a bowl
filled with mix berries and some other chunks
of food such has grapes and a few pieces of
grape tomatoes. Roxy chirps happily and
starts eating. A large hand rubs between cat
like ears. A purring chirp rumbles from Roxy
as she sits back and leans into the hand petting
her as she finished the blackberry in her beak.
Her bell tickles, a musical sound in the early
morning as the sun rises. Another chuckle fills
the air, and sounding beautiful with the small
tinkling sound of the bell. The little finshling a
bit smaller then normal. A runt really. She moves
her head away from her owner's hand so she can
finish eating her breakfast. Another chuckle and
shuffling footsteps tell Roxy her owner moved
back to the kitchen to get herself some food.
Once Roxy finishes, she scampers over to follow
her master, chirping and squealing softly. Her
master smiles down at Roxy and picks her up to
set her down on the counter. Roxy heads to the
window by the sink and stands on her hind legs,
front paws touching the glass as she watches the
sun rise, painting the clouds with a beautiful
array of pinks and oranges. She chirps, wings
fluttering as she feels the sun morning rays warm
her sleek coat. She squeals happily, already wanting
to go outside and play. Her little tail wiggles away
happily as she chirps. Today is going to be a beautiful
day.
