No, not the beach event. I meant that they look like the pictures that were in the link - Either having those shells on their backs like a hermit crab, or the actual shells design/colours on the dog.

humm....how about cactus themed pets? You already got 2012 cactus spiders but a cat that looks like a cactus or/and a dog cactus! and the cactus fox! yes that would be epic!
cactus's come in different shapes in sizes also so it would not just be one tpye of cactus your trying to put on cats, dogs, horses, foxs and rats!! yes omg catus rats o.o

I would love if they brought back a raven dog type lineart, but with ice wings at Christmas it could be like an angel version

I had a bark themed idea in my head a few days ago. Basing the fur off of bark like a Birch tree, or possibly add some problems like vines or fungus (which could be pretty)

i am tired of the blue/grey combination for the staff litter. I think it would be awsome if for the next staff litter (2015) the newborns look like they are all gonna be the same color combinations but for the pup stage they make them any color the participants want

I have always thought of something like this.
I hope one day they allow the artists to just have an almost free-for-all on the staff pets. It would make them so much more unique. x3 <3

This is correct. We vote on palettes. If we didn't use the same palette, it wouldn't be a staff litter. :) The only thing we're allowed to change is the eye colour, and then we can edit.

Staff members propose palette we like, and then the entire staff votes on them. There is usually a few rounds of voting, and finally, by general staff consensus, we choose a palette. It is all done very democratically. Members cannot suggest palettes though, sorry! It is all internal, as the staff usually chooses palettes they would really like to do.
Therefore, if the palettes seem similar, that could be because that is what the general group likes. Who knows, maybe we all have a penchant for blue, and prefer to use it.
I personally LOVE these years palette, just as I have loved the ones in the past.
