The sleek tom picked up another cat's scent, this time a larger cat than just a stupid kit. Stretching, His pelt rippled along his spine as he scanned the riverbank in front of him. There! A pretty calico she-cat. He flicked his ears as he held a gaze with her, hoping to scare her off. He had claimed the river as his own, and nobody elses!

Brightfang was curious, so she walked down to the river. "Who are you?"

He let out a low growl, crouching to show his muscles that now rippled through to show them through his soaked pelt. "Roach. Why come to my river?" He threatened, Amber eyes narrowed.

"D-do-----" He broke off for a longgg time before speaking again, nervously. "D-do y-y-you t-think w-we'll -e-e-ev-ever h-h-have k-k-kits?" He closed his eyes nervously, searching for her rejection.

Ivoryfern's eyes brightened. "Yes! I've been waiting for you to ask." She purred happily, nuzzling him.
