Cinderkit, Blossomkit, Bramblekit, and Honeykit all bounded into the den to look for Dreamkit. "Hey! Wanna play in the clearing? It's our last time in the nursery!" Bramblekit exclaimed.

Morningchirp happily perked her ears, then worry struck her blue gaze. "Are you alright?" She meowed, getting to her paws and touching her nose to his ear worrily. "What's going on?" She meowed, worry in her gaze. Usually he didn't act this..... this way around her.

He sighed."I'm moving to the elder's den."He rasped his eyes and fur where begining to dull.

Morningchirp's gaze suddenly dropped. "W-what?" She meowed, sadness in her gaze. "B-but.." She let her ears droop and her tail stop swaying impatiently. "I thought.." She touched noses to him. "It's okay.. I'll come to visit you every day, Me and Dreamkit both- I promise." She meowed, dedicated. Inside, her heart was pounding out of her chest in sadness. Her eyes showed hurt in them of the thought that unless she became an elder now too that he would not accept her as a young mate.

Roach waded in his river, his thick fur guarding him from the icy cold waters. Still he gazed at the blood on the pebbles of which he was still sorry for causing. Rolling each pebble over with a paw, he hid the blood stains on them, feeling terrible for nearly killing a kit. Sitting down on a treestump nearby he groomed his fur, sun shining down on it to give him a tiny bit of warmth to dry his thick brown pelt.

Brightfang headed towards. River when she saw a Tom near it. She stiffened. She was upwind- he would scent her soon! He was handsome, she noticed, seeing the muscles rippling beneath his smooth pelt.
