That ruins the point of the staff litter. The point is that the only limitations the staff are given are to use the dog lineart as a base and to stick by the color palette chosen for that litter. If I remember correctly, the staff even vote on the color palette each year. It causes them to have to be creative with that specific color palette and that's what I find so amazing about it, seeing the different designs that each staff member comes up with based on a few colors. It really wouldn't be the same if the staff members were able to use any colors they want.

This is correct. We vote on palettes. If we didn't use the same palette, it wouldn't be a staff litter. The only thing we're allowed to change is the eye colour, and then we can edit.

I'm really curious of how it's work for the palette. Do you choose it or do you have proposition from members ?

I wish next year we could have a more "colorfull" palette or a least a less "cold" one because we often have pink/purple palette but no orange/red.
A palette with more differents color (not mort than 3 of course) could be interested. Like a green/orange/purple one or a grey/black/white/red one. Or blue/green/orange, but more color or less cold. I've notice we a dark pink/purple palette 3 times (2009 > purple/green, 2011 > purple/yellow if I remember well, and 2014) and a blue one 2 times (2010 and 2012), and I really appreciate the green of last year. But it's preaps because I don't like pink and purple that much...

Staff members propose palette we like, and then the entire staff votes on them. There is usually a few rounds of voting, and finally, by general staff consensus, we choose a palette. It is all done very democratically. Members cannot suggest palettes though, sorry! It is all internal, as the staff usually chooses palettes they would really like to do.
Therefore, if the palettes seem similar, that could be because that is what the general group likes. Who knows, maybe we all have a penchant for blue, and prefer to use it.
I personally LOVE these years palette, just as I have loved the ones in the past.

lol guys there are two wings the darker purple part is supposed to be the other one (it's the inside of it tho, so it's just dark purple) but I can see how it would look like just one. cx just wanted to clear that up a lil bit, I know my wings drawing skills ain't perfect

I can appreciate that.
I am an anatomy buff, so probably was a bit harder than I should have been.
I really do love the colour flow the best so far,
and while the wing may not be my favorite I can appreciate the effort.

if the "one wing" thing bothers you, just give her an extra wing! easy enough to do. (I actually like the "one wing" look though, like a fallen angel type thing) and the hair is so fun to dress up!

I understand, and I don't really dislike this palette, I actually like it, but I was just hoping for something new, that change from other years. And I honestly was really fan of the last year one's, it's why I took it as example. But it's just me, and I'm not an artist, I don't have to be inspired by it.
