I nodded and headed off. I knew what I was gonna wear. That and some sneakers, I didn't want to wear high heels. I stopped front of my house. I changed into that dress, put on sneakers that matched it. I went to my care and drove back to Mattie's house.

By the time Lily came back, she sat her down and began to work on her friend's makeup. "Do you want me to put on eyeshadow and eyeliner?"

I smiled. "Sure, but I can do my hair." I reply.

Mattie nodded in response, and began Lily's makeup. Fifteen minutes later, Lily's face was adorned with pale silver and nude eyeshadow that made her eyes pop, a thin line of winged black liquid eyeliner, and a few coats of mascara that made her look absolutely stunning. "You look great Lily!" Mattie exclaimed, smiling as she dabbed on lipstick.

She returned the smile, and stepped away from the vanity so Lily could see her reflection. "Okay, all done."

Mattie giggled at her friend's reaction. "Dah-ling, you look positively faboo," she said, faking a posh accent. "Now do your hair and let's go meet some hot guys!"

I laughed sightly. I did my hair, it took me 10 minutes, but it was worth it.
