Starfalling, if it's like that then likely as the pic says it's bacterial infection. So keeping the water tip top clean is first step(knowing the nitrite and nitrate levels would be great help with that, some pet stores can test these for you if you take a water sample to them) in curing it, plus preventing it from coming back. How often and much do you change the water usually?
Then I'd get some anti-bacterial medication as well. But with meds you need to be carefull, as some are strong enough to kill the good filter bacteria as well(which is why testing for nitrite while medicating is pretty important). I've used stuff called Myxazin(by Waterlife, if I remember right) to treat mild-ish case of bacterial infection+mouth/finrot on corries. Worked on the milder cases, but not on the more severe ones. But at the same time it didn't kill any filter bacterias, which I was very greatful of. Sera's baktopur, or baktopur direct, are stronger stuff(especially the direct), but at the sametime very effective as well.

Can anyone think of fish that can live in temps of 20-23C? Smaller in size too, since they'd go to 80-ish liter tank...
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...

danios are a good fish for that. they come from fast moving streams in the mountains in Asia(which is why im stumped on why they are called a "tropical" fish).

After reading countless horror stories about automatic heaters, I was really hesitant to put it into my guy's tank...he has to have a heater in, as it's already getting cold where I am. However, I've been pleasantly surprised that it's stayed at a cozy 78~79 degrees without any problems! I still check obsessively, since I get worried, but, knock on wood, nothing wrong so far! ♥

Thanks, I've been thinking minnows or danios are pretty much my only option. I wouldn't mind pair of larger fish, but I've yet to find any. Like smaller gouramis would be perfect for the tank(since it's going to be dense planted, light current), but they like it warm...
Today though I run into little pretty fish called Rainbow Shiner, who also likes cooler water. They are super pretty, just my taste, but then I started to look if they sold them where I live. One shop(my regular fishy store) has them on their fish list, but not avaible at the moment. Nor could I find them on 2-3 different stock lists of the local shops... Check out neighbor coutry's list(since people tend to skip over there to get some fishes), and they have them! For whooping price of 17 euros(that's 22 USD), not to mention shipping/going there myself(by a ship XD)... And they are schooling fish, so... *ditches the idea*
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?

I'm actually gonna turn it into a tomato frog habitat! I'm so excited. I know this is a fish forum and I might get some hate for saying it but..... I've been thinking of getting out of the fish hobby for a while now and now's my oppurtunity! I onky have m 20 gallon and 2 betta tanks. I put the one betta in with the ottos in the 20 gallon and I'm turning the betta tank into a praying mantis habitat!

That's alright
I know the feeling
I had two 4 foot tanks, a 3 foot and two 8G betta tanks and after loosing most of my fish I decided I'd had enough and just kept one betta
Sold the rest of the fish and tanks
After about 6 months I got back into it again
I just have 2 tanks now and it's much easier
