"I want Songbird," Skykit mewed. "She's the deputy. Oh, or Graystripe. Or Fireheart. Or Foxsky. And Stormpaw, Featherpaw, Crowpaw, and Squirrelpaw will be warriors by then! Maybe we'll get one of them!"

"Yea! I wish we could be eachothers mentors, though. Then I could train you on how to be a mouse and attack 'other' mice!" Starkit squealed.
"Hm. The Skyclan den, so I may be closer to the others." Heronwing said.

Skykit nodded. "And I could teach you how to climb really high and jump from branch to branch!"

Ghoststar nodded. "Excellent. Shall we get to work?"

Stonekit caught it in between her teeth and threw it right back. "This is sooo much fun!" she squealed as soon as her mouth was free to speak again.

"The truth, of course," Mallowshade snorted as she walked with him. "What else?"

Beetlefrost nodded to show his thanks and started back for camp.

"Of course I still like you!" Weaselpaw exclaimed, astonished. "I mean, Maggotpaw, Sunpaw, Wasppaw, and Crowpaw are all the kits of Creekstorm, but no one dislikes them because of it."

Tawnkysky lowered his head. "Do you think they're back at camp with Fypaw yet?"
