Okay all this Eld - FR stuff is rather worrying..
I'm not active on Eld at all, luckily the only offsite trades I've made is for CS, and they aren't involved with this craziness, right?
I saw the post about what Eld specified as 'active', but do we know what FR classifies as 'active'?
I'm not on the FR forums at all really, just a few posts here and there. Mostly bugs. And I do a lot of offsite trading with CS.
(Bought at least 20 pets in the past month) But I love FR. ;-; The only reason I'm not using my treasure to buy dragons right now is because I don't have space and the idea of spending almost 300k for an upgrade makes me cringe.
I breed, train, and sell dragons all the time though. Does that count as active? My entire lair is full fed and I log on every day.
Wait wait.. is something going on? Did someone get in trouble?
Nope. Just some completely crap rules Eldemore made up that FR copied into their forums. The mod that pasted them deleted them a while ago.
We ranted and complained about them. The gist is that if you are not fully and entirely active(meaning full forum activity, full event participation, etc) you are NOT allowed to trade on Elde. If you are found to just be on a pet site like CS or Elde to make a profit on FR and aren't there to collect the awful pets you can get banned ON BOTH SITES.
It's real stupid and Elde just made up these rules to force it's members into activities they don't want to do because it's not a very good site.
I just have to correct this once again.
Eldemore never stated that full event or forum activity is necessary
We just stated that accounts only created for the purpose to sell newborns for offsite currency is forbidden.
This means you are forbidden to create an account to get online once a month to adopt your pets, sell them immedately of for treasure and then don't log in again for the leftover month just to start the wole progress again as soon as the next month starts.
Eld don't require anything like full forum activity or anything.
It isn't even neccesarry to post in the forum as long as you don't perform the above explained behaviour.
If you log in from time to time, have groups with pets you keep whatver it is completely fine to trade doubles and unwanted pets off for offsite currency.
No force to post in the forum at all.
We just don't want more dummy accounts that just want to make profit with Eld pets on FR but actually don't show interest in the site or the pets itself. Eldemore wasn't created for people to gain FR treasure.
The only moment Forum activity is required is if you decide to sell all your pets each month.
This is only allowed if you show that you are on Eldemore for the community and not for the pets. Than you are free to sell all your pets as we accept that there might be people wo come not for the art but for the community and conversations.
Please stop sharing all these wrong informatinons. Eldemore doesn't force anyone to do anything. We just take care of our economy and clarified our offsite trading rules as we noticed that there were some problems.
Also Eldemore is not responsible for anything that the FR staff decides to do. As far as my knowedge goes we never had contact to FR about the dummy account problem.[/quote]
You are free to trade between sites as long as you are active on both of them.
If you are leaving Eldemore then you may trade away what you have left. Once all of your pets are gone and you are no longer collecting or posting you may no longer participate in off-site trades from this site.
Off-site trading monthlies from a non-active account is now against the rules due to hundreds of dud accounts being made.
We realize this is really strict, but we want to try and maintain pet rarities as best as possible for active members who invest so much into their Eldemore collection.
Yes, as long as you are active in some way on this site you are free to participate in any off-site trades using Eldemore pets.
Any other forum besides trades that is.
These are the answers i got regarding offsite trading, and if you post on a forum topic (mind you im not collecting elde pets anymore, but ill be active in the one forum)
it sounds like you have to be active in one way or another to offsite trade.
