Phobias!: ..................

Shanda has a few phobias that
really makes her stand out
more.
One of them would be
Aphenphosmphobia,
the fear of being touched.

This is because she isn't around others
often but whenever she is she just
hates the feeling of someone touching
her, especially her wings or hair.
She'll often scream as loud as she can
angerily then run off and have a big
breakdown since she is sensitive.
She isn't mad though, just really
scared so this is a normal type of
behavior that is often looked at the
wrong way.

Another one is Mageirocophobia,
fear of cooking.

I know, this is a highly unusual fear
for someone to even have. I mean,
who wouldn't like cooking? But this
milky way kit is scared of it. She
is scared because she's afraid she
will poison someone or give them
a deadly disease or even just set
things on fire and end up burning
a house down. Another reason is
just because she is scared
it won't taste good and she won't
beliked.

One of her major phobias though is
Isolophobia, fear of being
judged by others.

This fear is kind of the reason
why she doesn't talk to others
too much, or tries to be a
perfectionist. She is scared of
being judged by the world and
getting hate because she
has seen others be bullied and
judged until they decided not
to live anymore. She is
determined to not be one of
those people so she just tries
to either keep to herself or
be the perfect kit for
everyone so this never
happens to her.

Even though she has a few
phobias, she is bound and
determind to not let them
take over her or her life.
She often tries to act tough
and hide her fears as much
as she can so she won't be
made fun of for having her
phobias. She usually goes
out in the forest exploring
just to get away from
everyone and to forget
about them.

rebelle likes to imagine herself as being entirely unique even though she has many things in common with others. she doesn't talk much but still loves to have fun -- be it with her her friends, family, or absolute strangers! many people see her as a fearless tom boy though she is afraid of many things, including being separated from those she loves. one of her favorite things to do is star gaze, she can do it for hours on end as the stars fascinate her.

i opened my eyes gently and blinked them in the bright, morning light. the feel of cold dew laced along my fur, jolting me awake as i realized that i had spent yet another night sleeping out under the stars. slowly, i stood up and braced myself for the punishment i would have to face as i began to walk home. my parents were furious with me already for repeatedly disobeying their orders and wandering the streets at night, but i couldn't help it -- i loved to watch the stars gracefully dance across the sky and i lost track of time in their beauty.

as i walked in they shook their heads, grabbing a blanket to frantically try and warm me up.
"sweetie, you know how dangerous it can be out there at night for a girl your age.. not to mention you're frozen half to death.." she said, her voice full of worry. "and you know you need sleep to focus in school, please just go to bed like other kids your age," my mother pleaded. all i could do was glance away, i knew i wasn't going to give up on my star gazing night walks but i couldn't tell her that. i loved to sneak out and explore, i had too much fun to throw that all away even if she tried to force me to.

i had expected her to get mad and scream at my lack of a response, but all she did was sigh and walk away. i waited in shock for a few moments before she returned carrying a small, ragged box that looked very old.
"this is for you. it might help you figure out why i've worried about you for so long. i don't want you to give up what you love, but even that needs moderation sometimes.. i love you too much to see you get hurt. it would crush my heart," she whispered softly, turning away again to leave me pondering. i didn't get what she had meant -- my walks never hurt anyone, right? i didn't have the guts to open the box, so instead i left it sitting on a tiny shelf in my room while i thought and thought about what she had said. i wondered why she would think that i needed to change.

a few days passed by and i started to think about these questions she had given me. looking at the stars gives you time to think, sometimes about too much, and i had all the time in the world for my mind to wander. when i couldn't take being outside anymore, i ran inside only to end up wondering what was inside the box. i ripped the tape off carefully, unfolding the flaps one by one to see a small, glass figure surrounded by styrofoam. her tiny hands held the edges of an elegant tutu away from her hips as she danced to silent, unheard music. i pulled her from where she had been in the box for so long, examining her carefully before holding her up and pretending she was a real ballerina performing dozens of pirouettes one after the other as i danced with her.

before i knew it, my foot slipped on the wooden floor and i tumbled onto the ground. the ballerina flung from my grip, hitting the wall and making the most heart-wrenching shattering sound. my mother ran into the room to see me in shock, staring at the spot on the wall that she had left behind. she swept the pieces of the ballerina into a small jar, placing them on my shelf.
"you are fragile, just like this ballerina. how do you think i would feel if you got taken from me?" she asked, and i burst into tears. i hadn't been careful enough when i had gone outside night after night, anyone walking by could of hurt me or taken me away. "it's okay now," my mother murmured, sensing my alarm. "you're safe as long as you're with me, why don't we go on a walk together tonight?"
"i'd love to," i said cheerfully, drying my eyes.

my mother reopened the jar, pulling out each piece of the ballerina.
"what do you say we fix this old girl up?" she asked, winking. i nodded in return, and we began to glue her back together again before setting off on one of the most memorable walks i've ever been on.
