I have to say, I'm ever so slightly disappointed about the summer butterwolf. He's gorgeous and all, fire is my favorite element after all. But I was really looking forward to a beautiful summerish butterfly, especially after spring and winter grew. Those two represent their seasons so beautifully, but why did summer get fire?

Or are they actually based on the four elements and not the four seasons? Earth, air, fire and water?

Nope defineltly seasons. You can see the leaves in all of them. Even summer. It wouldn't make sense for it to be all four elements.

I'm not posting really often but I've an idea about Liddi pups, so...
I think it can be this one :
If his name is Aria, his "ears" can actually be horns, so he can't lisen because he don't have ears.
I'm sot sure with the cat's things.
The things that grow with age would be horns again.
Just an idea.

I have to say i am very impressed with this Bwold. With the theme of seasons, this one highlights just how a season can be as terrifying as it is beautiful!

I live in Australia, and the area in which i live has more or less been on a permanent high fire warning for several years due to an extended drought. We had a fire last year which took the better part of 2 or more weeks to extinguish, luckily it wasn't too close to town, but it was close enough that every night the sky was just red. I dread if a fire happens now, because its just so dry here.

Hmm... Why is everybody assuming the dark firey bwolf is summer? (assuming the bwolves are seasons at all, which admittedly is a good speculation I'd guess). Was it confirmed somewhere?

Because to me, that bwolf looks like AUTUMN, not summer in the slightest. We burn leaves in autumn, etc. I'll agree the caterpillar it came from looked more summery than the brown caterpillar that hasn't grown to adult yet, but... yeah. Well I guess we'll see when the last one grows.

I think the assumption came from the caterpillar stage, when the one that turned into the charred cocoon looked more summery. It was orange with hints of green, while the last one was brownish orange and much more fall-like. ...which I now realize you just said, but yeah. I'm pretty sure that's why everyone was assuming this was summer.

It's like you said, because of the caterpillars. Winter caterpillar turned into winter bwolf, spring caterpillar turned into spring bwolf, summer caterpillar turned into fire bwolf and then autumn caterpillar hasn't grown yet^^

Ooh, thats a good guess, I didn't think of that! I wanted to take a shot, so here is my guess. I haven't been watching this much so my apologies if I missed something.


This is my guess for Lidi's pup. It doesn't seem to be listening... and its hair could grow with age? -probably a bad guess lol-
